Re: Kitesurfing vs Windsurfing Injuries

I think there is a greater chance of injury in windsurfing, but a greater chance of dying in kitesurfing.

There is just a lot of stuff you can impact when windsurfing.

Re: North Reach vs Duotone Evo 2020 test | Kitefinder

Might have been nice to swap positions because sometimes camera angles can be deceiving but it looks like they are very close together but the kites are farther apart.

And another thing, which rear line attachment points were used?

Re: North Evo or Neo 2016

Maybe I don’t understand what you are saying. When you depower, the rear lines go slack, not the front.

Because you are shortening the front lines.

Here is another thread about the red line being slack on the duotone north trust bar.

Re: North Evo or Neo 2016

When you depower, the rear lines become more slack, on all four line kites. If you are using the north trust bar, the red line will go slack and flop around because you are shortening the gray line. Other companies solve this by using a bungee in their “red line” flag out line. C6CB39E1-1F5D-4C91-BF...

Re: 2019 Duotone Click Bar

If you want to keep the ball just remove the stopper and pull the red line it through the quick release.

Re: Slider spreader options for Dakine Fusion Small

I didn’t like the ion original rope slider because there is no latching lever. The dakine option original was a piece of...... The mystic is the best one on the market right now, I believe. The wings will slide into the power belt opening on the dakine fusion 0FA5C0A4-60E8-4962-B5A2-9FE41349166D.jpeg

Re: remove battens from north dice

I have broken my battens? Is that a issue? No worse than a slow leak in a bladder really. In both cases the kite flies better if you fix the issue, but remains flyable. I think if I broke a batten, I would remove it or at least tape the two ends together to stop the broken ends from tearing through...

Re: Reedin Dreamstick - smart bar, very poor color choice

Color coding works. I know there are those who don’t think so, but for the rest of us, we want it. If you don’t use it, it doesn’t hurt you. Here are some color blind charts.
