Re: The sad decline of aging pro kiteboarders

I think the beauty of King of the Air is that is was won by Kevin, Arron and Jessie who were orginally freestyle tour riders (PKRA), who were towards the end of their careers on the tour (less so for Jessie). The new format allowed them to showcase their true talent and make a great come back.

Re: Superfast twin tip?

For standard twin tips I find my Shinn Monk 134cm to be one of the faster ones out there. I am also reading a few reviews which say the Lieuwe Shot Gun if a very fast board.

Re: Thailand Kitesurfing ?

Anyone in Thailand currently ? I will be landing this Satuday and heading Hau Hin. Thinking of just packing my 14m Naish torch (covers me from 13mph to 25mph - 90kg, Shinn 133cm monk) How is the wind currently ?

Thailand Kitesurfing ?

I'm off to Thailand in 2 weeks time. Is it worth taking my kites (Naish Torch's 14m, 11m, 10m, 9m and 7m) I ride a 134cm Shinn Monk and am 88kg. Current plan is arrive in Bangkok and then travel around. I was thinking of just packing the 14m, harness and lines and trying to rent a board outn there. ...

Re: shinn insert spacing

I put a pair of Naish Apex on a 2013 Shinn Monk 134cm. I currently have a set of SP Kiteboarding (I think they make the Shinn pads & Straps for Shinn?) on my 2014 Shinn Monk. I can measure the spacings later if it helps ?

Re: Naish Dash

Thanks for the replies. I see there is no current 2020 Torch in Naish's line up.... Could they phase the Torch out now :-( The Slingshot fuel used to be very popular, but hardly anyone buys a new fuel now.
