Naish 2021 - Torch and Dash

Anyone able to give feedback on the 2021 Naish Torch or Dash ? Has anyone ridden, or own one ? The 2021 Dash got a very good review from Kiteworld Magazine, videos of the Torch also look very nice.
thanks

Re: Naish 2021

Anyone flown the 2021 Torch or Dash then ? Kiteworld Magazine seemed to really like the 2021 Dash, can't find much on the new Torch.

Re: 3rd time snapping north lines

SK78 and SK75 Dyneema are also more than suitable, this is what most lines were up until a few years ago.

Re: 3rd time snapping north lines

RRD is not Q-line but same type of straight strand dyneema, very similar.

Re: 3rd time snapping north lines

Thought of power-q lines? It's a good line material and has been around for years, Flexifoil used to use it years back. Dyneema SK99 is by far the strongest line but Q-line has very good abrasion resistance, possibly better than Dyneema. I also rate the RRD lines, they use an unusual straight stran...

Re: 3rd time snapping north lines

No sleeves. Splices plus pigtails!
Most kite manufaturers produce sleeved lines at the kite connection end, but agreed you could use additional pigtail conenctions if required, however it's another addtional point of weakenss.

Re: 3rd time snapping north lines

The best (strongest) line is Dyneema SK99, try Liros, Southern ropes or Marlow. I would buy a 500kg (front line set) and 350kg (back line set). You will struggle to splice 1.4mm line, buy it from a shop that can sleeve it. You 100% need sleeved kitelines (except for Q-line) contrary to what I often ...

Re: Twintip repair - Shinn Bronq

I would cut the damaged Ptex layer off with a very sharp knife, sand the edges down. Buy a Ptex repair candle stick, melt the Ptex on, once it's set give it a slight sand again. The damage is only to the Ptex layer and not structural. https://www.datawax.com/ski-snowboard/ptex-repair-candles-clear?l...
