snowkiting in Pakistan (Himalayas)

I hope these guys will still be able to fly their kites next week: http://www.pakistanfreeride.com/index.asp But they have government support, so that may help. There are some beautiful pics in the gallery by the way. Quoted from the site: An incredible concept powered by Ozone kites and engineered ...

I had good kiting in Crete (June, 2003). Best places are Elafonissos and Falasarna on the west coast. In ten days I had maybe 4 days of wind. Both are large beaches, winds were cross-on, waves up to 1 m. For family it's great and the food is excellent. Probably the best food i've ever had anywhere. ...

Hi Marc, I read with interest your explanations. I have the following three questions: 1. When you release through the push-out function, the bar slides about 10 m up one frontline. One this fronline in the orange coloured part is a little yellow stopper ball. Is this ball supposed to go through the...

So Matze, it seems you will go in the worst season for both places. And when the winds finally start blowing, the exams are approaching. The kitesurfing ban in Barcelona won't affect you because you assumedly won't be there in the summer anymore. I guess all spring it's allowed to kite at Barcelonet...

Hi, I did the same in my time. Studied for one year in Lisbon. Then it was the windsurfing bug that drove me there. In the end I stayed there to work for another year. Barcelona I only know from tourism. Some things to concider: If you don't have a car, I think Barcelona may be better, cause you can...

Sq, relaunch is no problem on the water. It's for the snow.

Woooow, cool moves, unleashed kite would do nothing to the buildings, that's right, but what if a truckdriver gets a kite on his windscreen driving 50 km/h along the road, dragging some kid along by the lines? We really don't need that kind of publicity. So for me, if witness records are all correct...

Ok, thanks everyone for the info.
I'll abandon the idea to fit WW-system to my Aero I's, and start considering a new set of kites (perhaps windwing...).

Greetz! :bye:

Tom: I have exactly the same arrangement as you have, except for the fact that my T.E. bridle starts right below the T.E. ring. I see you have three knots for connecting the T.E. bridle at different positions. Does this make a difference? Was there a lot of slack in your T.E. bridle or not. I expect...
