Foil box became loose

A Takuma board was fixed by a professional repair shop for a loose foil box. Soon after it was repaired it became loose again without hitting anything. 1. how much such fix should cost? 2. what can I ask the repair shop to do so it won't happen again? is it an issue of too small high density foam? o...

Re: Most fun kite in sub 10 knots and a surf wing

Ideally, one would use a large high aspect foil because it allows higher speed to allow going upwind with a smaller kite, and glide which keeps you flying in transitions and lulls. Speed and glide should make it more fun as it will allow to do things like a 360, sitting on the board. Also will allow...

Re: ufo fluttering..normal?

notice that you should minimize flutter by pulling the bar a bit as it causes more wear to the canopy

Re: Kite quiver for TT and Foil suggestions

רק קלאודים אחשלו 🙃 Clouds or UFOs for foiling and a 9m cheaper used kite for boosting(one that's designed for that) because you don't use it much. 9m will work in 25 knots but won't jump high in 16-17.... so you will need 6m for foiling till 17-18 knots using one inflatable kite for both isn't so go...

Moses shared setup for wind wing and kite

Hi, I would like to buy a moses setup for kite that can be upgraded (if possible) to a wind wing setup in the future ideally by adding only a front wing. Is it possible without a significant compromise when I'll want to learn this new sport? For kiting I'm aiming at either 633 or 790 as I ride waves...

Re: position strapless board with just legs - no hands.

Just give it some practice, you will be amazed how hands on the board are not needed once the board is down wind. It's a bit surprising so it may be hard to imagine for you. Just pull the bar a bit and the legs will adjust the board.
