Re: Strongest bar?

I've made a couple of heavy-duty storm weather bars due to the same breaking and fear of being funked up... I bought the Switch controller 2-3 'bar only with floats - its solid & strong as hell and easily the beats other brands I've had. Just put the guts of your broken ones onto it. The later bars...

Re: Eco 2019 vs Evo 2020 (pulleys issue)

Hi Blackened can you comment on the depower stroke for 2020? Get less-same-more depower over shorter-same-longer stroke? Is the depower linear or just a little then a lot of depower? Thanks!

Re: North Launches The Reach

Hello, how well does the Reach depower compared to other kites in the North range?
- Short/long depower stroke
- Linearly along the stroke or just a little then a lot

I'm thinking about small wave riding in onshore wind (very good depower needed for bottom turn)

Thanks!

Re: Research on "High Hook" seat harnesses

Basically the search started because I am trying to improve my stance... A few people suggested that the higher hook would help reduce my "pooh stance" But what made me more curious was reading an article about kitesurfing and the strain it puts on your core muscles and abs... i usually end session...

Re: Research on "High Hook" seat harnesses

I'm curious as why you think a high hook is better in any way. In my experience a low hook near your center of gravity is much better for everything: jumping, wave riding, freeriding, looping, rotations. I know that it takes a few sessions to get used to changes in hook height, but once your muscle...

Re: What sticks to dacron?

Everything stick to Dacron if it's clean and dry. You can repair tears on leading edge with nothing more than epoxy glue and drywall tape... I have seen such repairs on significant tears last many months. But noting beats stitching for a quality and safe job...

Does the Naish triad suck that bad in small sizes?

2019 models are going quite cheap, I'm looking at a 6m for 30-35kn wind (I'm 92kg, expert). Googled a lot and it was basically crickets and tumbleweeds in the wind.. except for sales pitches from various shops Gleiten.tv review was not good... lag... disconnected feeling... need giant arms for depow...

The price is in pesos, right? Not greenbacks.

Re: Instructor gets caught in lines and drowns after saving students

I got very slightly tangled in a runaway kite in the water years back. I approached with great caution and could not believe how quickly things got out of hand. I was flying my kite at the same time so I bodydragged the **** out of there as soon as I disentangled. The runaway kite then hit another k...
