Re: jelly fish punture mediterranean

Sea turtles (not tuna: tuna eat heavy metals (/sarcasm)) eat jellyfish and their habitat is being destroyed, so less turtles = more jellyfish and also = less oxygen in the water = less marine creatures. Jellyfish are little bastards and sea turtles are not the brightest when it comes to adapting to ...

Re: Twin Fin kiting

The greatest kite surfboard in the world, the Wave Bandit Performer 4-10, is a twin! I sold all my epoxy surfboards after discovering the magic of the Performer 4-10 (I'm 75 kg / 165 lbs). You can check it out in most of my vlogs like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KV4k7rAeb-4 I also fin...

Re: Best Kitesurfing film ever?

A few of us back in the early years loved the energy in a simple home video called Arcoholics. https://vimeo.com/3103970 :thumb: This one got me into kiting. Still love it! Botany bay in the early 2000s!!! I was there with ARC 8.4, ARC 11 and later Venom 19! Those were the days - thanks for sharing!

Re: Strongest bar?

I've made a couple of heavy-duty storm weather bars due to the same breaking and fear of being funked up... I bought the Switch controller 2-3 'bar only with floats - its solid & strong as hell and easily the beats other brands I've had. Just put the guts of your broken ones onto it. The later bars...

Re: Eco 2019 vs Evo 2020 (pulleys issue)

Hi Blackened can you comment on the depower stroke for 2020? Get less-same-more depower over shorter-same-longer stroke? Is the depower linear or just a little then a lot of depower? Thanks!

Re: North Launches The Reach

Hello, how well does the Reach depower compared to other kites in the North range?
- Short/long depower stroke
- Linearly along the stroke or just a little then a lot

I'm thinking about small wave riding in onshore wind (very good depower needed for bottom turn)

Thanks!

Re: Research on "High Hook" seat harnesses

Basically the search started because I am trying to improve my stance... A few people suggested that the higher hook would help reduce my "pooh stance" But what made me more curious was reading an article about kitesurfing and the strain it puts on your core muscles and abs... i usually end session...

Re: Research on "High Hook" seat harnesses

I'm curious as why you think a high hook is better in any way. In my experience a low hook near your center of gravity is much better for everything: jumping, wave riding, freeriding, looping, rotations. I know that it takes a few sessions to get used to changes in hook height, but once your muscle...
