Re: Cutting down wetsuit legs?

As an alternative for next time you buy a wetsuit, I recently bought an "extended leg" Crossfire Mystic Wetsuit and couldn't be happier. In fact, so happy that I started w/ a 4/3 for winter, and then bought the 2/3 version for summer. Great wetsuit! I found last years models on Amazon for great pric...

Re: Kiteboarding slang

The Peanut Gallery: This one is multiple choice… A. Group of onlookers comprised of a combination of the most smart-ass wannabe locals and kooks trying to kiss their ass. B. Group of semi-jaded but cool locals who are waiting for anyone to be the guinea pig and test the waters to see if there is en...

Big Windy -

Just saw this trailer and dug it. I only ride in the surf, and enjoy watching some of the best rip it. The trailer is shot on the North Shore of Oahu, and I truly look forward to getting the whole movie as I am sure there are other great locations as well. Also great soundtrack!! http://www.youtube....

Re: 2010 Helix buy one size larger than your 09s?

Tried the 2010 12m Helix and 2010 12m Rebel on the same day. The Helix seemed to have plenty of power, just as much as the Rebel .The Helix seemed to generate a lot of power from apparent wind more so than the Rebel. Both very nice kites. Great to hear, and are the two kites I am looking at for 201...

Re: rebel o9 9m - tuning

Interesting Porkus - My 9 is exhibiting similar behavior, although I haven't had the opportunity to test the low end yet. De-powering helped, but still wasn't perfect (or as perfect as my 07' flew once I adjusted) Let me/ us know how she fly's after your adjustments, and how long the line is you add...

Re: rebel o9 9m - tuning

Thanks Casper. I remember doing this on my 07's. BTW, had an insane session on my 9 today!!! Winds ~15-25 averaging 20mph with really fun surf; great x-mass!
