For some reason, most manufacturers but the right version on the bar and the left version at the kite. I think that has to do with the fact that the kite has more of a chance for the pulleys to get sand in them, and if those with the ball-bearings get sand in them they will be nearly impossible to ...

We might have to go the route of paragliders in that the sellers will have to require license to purchase kites, although I really don't want to go that route, but it might solve many problems in an unregulated sport.

Yea got to love animated von Misses stresses, I guess some one would have to define those boundary conditions fully and with the variability that exists it compounds the problem further. Also as you've said defining the loads is fairly difficult. I'm not a big fan of Pro/E mechaninca myself much pre...

This is ridiculous toby we were asking the company to respond and defend themselves from the news of potentially negative practices which are not very truthful. I just remembered something, I am not a lawyer but isn't it true that if the individual kite shops came up with the same slogan with out having first seen the other product it is not infringement, at least thats for patents.

not to mention when you are riding on the rail if the board is wide enough the opposite set of fins should be out of the water. So the force from the fins should be pushing in the nose of the board in a towed in fin setup, which i guess will give you better rail hold, but if the rails of the surfboa...
