Re: What's Up With Naish?

Really...why? You must be under the delusion the kite market hasn't changed.

I must have ridden by this guy/gal a dozen times totally oblivious until I got home and looked at pics. Good size bull shark.

Re: Who are the biggest kooks in kitesurfing?

It's the people who think they are elite kitesurfers that no one gives a shit. Most people don't have a clue what it is and could care less. Unless they live close to water and wind, they might have some idea, but really don't care.

Re: What's up with Switch Kites?

10m Nitro all-time favorite kite and still have one. Great when its windy. Larger sizes were too heavy so whatever you can do to lighten them up a bit would be helpful.

Re: What's up with Switch Kites?

Don't know about Frank, but I always sold my Switch kites easily. Still have a Nitro I will keep.

I suspect any 'kite' company who's primary product line are kites, will struggle. The market has evolved.

Re: What's up with Switch Kites?

Nitro 7 is 4 years old and no news about new models. Forum is still closed. Doesn't look so good to me. Maybe switch is still hanging there like best kiteboarding with very low sales and development The forum has been shut down years ago because it got polluted with internet scammers. Maybe they do...

Re: What's up with Switch Kites?

I've been a long-time Switch customer on and off for years. Some of their products I like a lot. Last week I sent them a message asking if they are still in business. The response...Yes we are. New stock arriving in 1.5 Months.

We'll see.

The form factor must have killed it. I knew a guy who drank the koolaide and bought a couple. Couldn't give them away. LOL
