Topic: why c kite is better for unhook from sle or bow ????

I've moved to C's(07 torchs to be specific) because of how they behave unhooked. A large majority of bows/sle/hybrids don't behave well unhooked without having to trim them a bit. At least with my torchs I don't even have to touch the trim. Just unhook and throw the move. I haven't had any problems ...

Wow that was sic to watch. I especially like that opening move... damnnnnnnnnn.... It's amazing watching the top guys and seeing the new levels they are pushing kiting to. Just makes you wonder what kind of moves the young guys are going to come up with years from now.

If your grip is just very weak you could do what a lot of weight lifters do when dead lifting heavy, do an over under grip. This way one of your hands is facing down and the other one up. You can hold much more power with this grip. You should do some workouts to increase your grip strength in the m...

I switched to some 07 torchs recently and am VERY happy. They are a ton of fun, perform awesome unhooked and the range is great. I actually keep up with my buddies on SLEs in the range department no problem. They ragged me for getting them saying they had no range what so ever. HAHAHA Suckers... I c...

There are a lot of sharks in the Gulf but can't say I've ever heard of any kiters having any sort of issues with em. As far as jellies are concerned, I've only come across the annoying stinging kind. I'm not even sure if there are any man-o-wars around here. The season down here looks like it's star...

I can ride my 14 and 10m 07 Torchs from 12 to 30 easy. I actually did that today. You need to have 2 nice boards to make that work though too. I'm using a 135 Skywalker and 131 Thorn at the moment. If you like C kites then just get one of the new ones. The range is great and no need to go to SLEs or...

Canopies you can usually get by with some sail tape but not the leading edge or struts. The leading edge takes some of the most force when you crash a kite. It would be a VERY good idea to have it stitched up by a pro. If not you may rip it open even more. Check out Grandpa Don in Jacksonville. I th...

I've always noticed that you can jump roughly the same height but you will get much more hang time with the larger kite. Small kites always seem to drop you faster. With that being said though small kites are more fun to fly since you can loop em and whip em around so easy. I usually use my bigger k...

Yeah bro just pick up a Mystic. You'd be much happier. If your going to ride toe side a lot too just put the hooks facing out instead of in too. Some people ride harnesses looser and have em come undone cause of this. Flipping em helps keep em hooked.
