this is what works for me: Coming out of the turn, standing toeside: edge the board upwind just a little to move the kite forward, and then straight after go stand up straight with the board flat. Because of this you create some slack in the power allowing for an easy switch. In chop i try to turn ...

I either switch before or after the turn, never during. In both cases, I turn the board upwind to slow down if needed. Hope that helps!
