Re: Introducing the IQR from Airush

Looks great and congrats to the team but I would not call it single hand reset. It’s a click reset and that’s great but you still need a second hand to hold the counter part to push it in. At least in real water environment.

One first things i tell students is colours dont matter what matters is that everything is the same length?
Wow - you should rethink your strategy from my perspective. Try to ever steer a kite with the bar flipped and you Kern it the healed way. Intuition kicks in and it ends badly. G

Re: Waterproof bag for diabetic kiter

My son also is T1D. He started with surfing and kiting last year. I make sure he hits the water with the usual sports high along with some loading of complex carbs for the run. I manage the run off the water - get him out after one hour - recheck his BG and adjust as needed. Much easier to manage it...

Re: One vs two front straps on board

The straps are mounted to nearly overlap in the center. It sounds like I am probably more limited by my board skills than the actual strap position ;-)

Thanks for all the comments. G

One vs two front straps on board

I tried to go toe side on my two front straps board but in no way could I find the right balance to make it work. Do i need to switch to one center front strap to stay a chance? I use a LF happy with a cut down Old door as board.

G - I know I am suppose to ride strapless but one at a time kids...

Re: Sealing alu strut - still a no-no?

I have the same leaking problem with my Liquid Force Alu mast. Should I just foam it out with the construction foam? I tried many different fillers as end caps but they all leak after some time. I dont want to disassemble the foil each ride just to get the water out. Thats just stupid ... Any other ...

how to best repair a repaired valve

My repair sticker with the valve just came off the tube again. Whats the best way to fix it? What solvent should I use to best wipe off the old glue off the tube. Just clean as much as possible and try another sticker to get another 2-3 years out of it? Just resticking it did not work I already trie...

Re: 1/2-inch cut on LE

Just tape it from the inside and more generous from the outside with the heavy tape. My Edge 10 runs with a cut like this for years now and I had bigger kites with cuts like that which just worked fine. They all ripped apart but NOT where I taped them but just for “other” ;-) reasons. G
