Re: iUp by Taaroa - the first intelligent hydrofoil

Re: Parkinson's and kiting

Staying active is the most important non-pharmaceutical part you can do to help yourself. Your current symptoms you got diagnosed on should be controllable with the help you your docs prescriptions. After some initial dose adjustments you should be fine doing anything. Progressing foiling for sure. ...

Re: line knife or hook knife, slightly bigger one recommendations

Also this summer we had a few beginners wrap themselves on th...

Re: Bladders in foils

I love the usable wind range of 6.5-7 !-) So true. Had the 5.5 for quite a while and pulled the 9 up only a few times and got too scared to even hit the water. Bought Flysurferkite Speedair prototype in 9 instead which even had something like a depower function. But the Mosquito used the bags only f...

Ever heard of the windtools mosquito kites - from back then , probably 20 years ago? You could add tube floats back then. What a monster it was...

Re: iKitesurf scammer

I had good luck with IKitesurf over the years and only one scam with all money recovered. After that I introduced the mandatory call and special photo requests which works well. But typically I try to do local Craigslist pickups. G

Re: older kiters prescription glasses how does everyone handle it?

Jake’s comments are spot on as he is an ophthalmologist and sees patients when something goes wrong. For years he had a “beautiful” sutured corneal transplant as his KF ID photo which no one knew who is not in the field. That’s just what he urges you all to avoid.
