Re: Sealing alu strut - still a no-no?

I have the same leaking problem with my Liquid Force Alu mast. Should I just foam it out with the construction foam? I tried many different fillers as end caps but they all leak after some time. I dont want to disassemble the foil each ride just to get the water out. Thats just stupid ... Any other ...

how to best repair a repaired valve

My repair sticker with the valve just came off the tube again. Whats the best way to fix it? What solvent should I use to best wipe off the old glue off the tube. Just clean as much as possible and try another sticker to get another 2-3 years out of it? Just resticking it did not work I already trie...

Re: 1/2-inch cut on LE

Just tape it from the inside and more generous from the outside with the heavy tape. My Edge 10 runs with a cut like this for years now and I had bigger kites with cuts like that which just worked fine. They all ripped apart but NOT where I taped them but just for “other” ;-) reasons. G

Re: Old/Ancient gear - what is it good for?

I started flying old kites as there were too many uncertainties with new kite for such a long time. You only knew that a kite is a good kite after it proved itself through general use for at least one season. Now these times are mostly a thing of the past but I really dont see a difference between t...

Re: Twintip damage can I repair it? Gash 5 cm

just patch it as good as you can and ride it. If it breaks you have your decision. If it holds - good. This is a classical nothing to loose situation as the board is already toast. Just dont spend money to patchi it up. I have a board like this and it holds up well. And mine was on the heels side wh...

Re: Aluula ? New Revolutionary Material from Ocean Rodeo

who cares about new material? All I care is if a kite flys better - which means very different things for different people. So just wait until the kites are out and then test them. If you like them great - if not just use your old kites you liked for such a long time now. There were so many things i...

Re: Kite Turn Accelerator by Bruno Legaignoux

As much as I love your stuff I actually don’t see the value relative to the risks. Drop your kite then try to untangle that mess. I see advantages in simplicity or covered technologies like the click bar. Wasn’t it the first Switchblade bar with the pulleys and all the pinched fingers / wrapped line...
