Re: Boa Vista, Cape Verde - a quick review

Great review ! The only one I found for Boa. Pitty the photos were lost. We hope to go there in a couple of weeks - Boa or Sal. The main point is waveriding. Could you give some info comparing waves spots on Sal and Boa?. Both Ponta Preta and Boa have waves with offshore conditions and gusty winds. ...

Re: Converse 2007 6'2"...pls. help

Thank you. Everyone ! Great help :yourock: My first directional was a 5'5" North Rocketfish and although much smaller it planed early and pointed high when engaging fins hence my surprise with Converse..very different. So it looks like I will need to cover the beautiful wooden deck with pad......

Thank you Uride. I will give it a try. Do you wax your board or did you put an extra padding?

Converse 2007 6'2"...pls. help

I picked-up this as 2nd hand board. It feels very unstable. I moved the pads/straps to the most forward position but it still seems way to far back. The stern sinks and the bow awfully sticks out of water even if I move weight to front leg. Are all Converse like this ? Or perhaps it just needs a loa...

Re: Mauritius

Hi Nico, Thanks. I checked the stats again and it looks like the beginning of Oct is the last time to come for two weeks and have a reasonable chance for decent winds? Do you agree? I need some advice on choosing directional for this trip...could you or anyone could have a look: http://www.kiteforum...

Re: Help flooded my olympus camera

Do you have warranty? Olympus (in Poland) replaced mine under warranty including the memory card without any questions. Even got a newer model :)

Airush Converse 6'2" vs. Takoon Burning 5'8" for Mauritius?

Hi, tough choice, can anyone help which one would be better for me (70kg 180cm) for trip to Mauritius? I have been kitesurfing over 5 years but not much experience on waves. Done a little of small waves riding previously in Brasil and Baltic on North Rocket Fish 5'5" 2007 and FreeStyle Fish 5'0 (sti...

Re: Mauritius

I am considering to go to Mauritius in Nov/Dec. Can anyone comment on wind stats on Windfinder

http://www.windfinder.com/windstats/win ... itius.htm#

Is it really the case that wind drops at the end of Oct? Would Nov be better then Dec?

Thanks for any help.

P.
