Re: Foil boards with minimal volume (built like a twin tip)

I got the exact opposite experience with all my foilboards (5 different sizes right now). The smaller and thinner the board, the more wind is needed in order to waterstart and foil, no matter what wing. A huge difference in low end in my experience  But I know not all agree on this... 8) Pete...

Re: Foil boards with minimal volume (built like a twin tip)

this for me is odd, can you say why you prefer a board and rig which from my experience sinks just under the water surface, and can not be seen as a result when you crash? its certainly a feature that make me avoid that route. Main reason is for light wind water start where it helps if more of the ...

Foil boards with minimal volume (built like a twin tip)

Hi, which foil boards are there on the market that are thin like a twintip? The CrazyFly F-Lite comes pretty close to what I'm looking for but I don't need all the inserts for straps: https://www.crazyflykites.com/boards/f-lite What I'm looking for: - Light - Should fit plate mounted foils (like Mos...

Also, does anyone know if this small sized chicken loop is also compatible with the 2017 Click bar?

Re: Front line attachment on 2017 North Click bar

Thanks, the explanation from Foil makes a lot of sense. I'll get rid of the blue line and make my own "red" line for flagging out. My goal is a V shape (not Y) since I'm planning to use it with Non-North kites that require a V. Also, it should be a 4 line single front line safety setup (no 5th). If ...

Front line attachment on 2017 North Click bar

Hey, I have a 2017 North Click bar without lines, and I'm trying to figure out how to properly attach lines so that the single front line safety flag out works. The attached photo shows the blue line that goes down inside the plastic cover all the way to the leash attachment point. But the blue line...

Re: Strapless Backroll, Frontroll, Backspin or Frontspin?

I would say easiest is probably grabbed backroll followed by no-grab backroll.
What do you mean with backspin/fontspin?

Which bar for women?

So, my girlfriend has pretty short arms. Which bars would be good for her that help with the following problems? - Above the bar trim systems are very hard for her to reach since they are pretty far away - Below the bar trim systems (like Slingshot Compstick Guardian) require some strength - Smaller...
