Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

We need to be careful not to be misleading with low end numbers. Dsurf is pretty light and likely quite skilled. Host is also quite light and has super human skills. Their low end numbers are not to be used as general bench marks. Rider weight, skill level, front wing size, and a host of lesser var...

Re: Cloud 9 F foil

Following. I am still on the S series (LF impulse) and love it for swell riding. Very interested in the performance differences to this F series.

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Ok, so we have been foiling on water with Peak4's for a while now.

Anyone finding issues with canopy wear, due to the flutter?

Yes, I try to minimise flutter by sheeting in and changing to smaller kites.

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Hi all you Peak lovers, I´m super happy with my 5 m² Peak4. Now I´m contemplating on getting the 8 m² version as well. The 5 m² works for me from 11/12 kts until maybe 17 kts (75 kg / Moses 633). Will the 8 m² cover 8/9 kts to 12 kts? Would be very interested to hear about your experiences regardin...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

yes, nice to have better upwind, greater wind range, better relaunch, less flutter

Re: Blackfoot moving back as I progress- why?

Yesterday I realized that “my” position for placing the back good moved backwards over the season prob 2 inches as I progressed in my second year. Why would I do that? G Probably moving your body weight more forward over your front leg. Extend your back leg to counterbalance On a twin tip you body ...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

You need smaller Peaks! Anything over 20 knots is 3m weather, maybe 4m if you want to jump. 170lbs, 1100 cm2 wing, like to ride in the kites true sweet spot. Enough power to get up and go easily, enough power to crank upwind, enough power to provide a little float and soften landings for strapless ...

[I tried the 5 meter with my old SS space pickle in maybe around 22-25 knots and I thought it worked really well.
Wouldn't the flutter be unbearable at that wind speed?

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Yes, now my Peak 8m is working perfectly :naughty: :jump: Do you know what they did to it to fix the problem? Unfortunately, I have no idea. Nobody told me what was wrong. I have the same issue (top wing tip collapsing in the upperwind range). Would love to hear from Flysurfer/Armin on how to fix.....
