Re: Retired old boards

Some one will make use of it.
My first board was a Lost Cause TT from 2007 I think. 137x49. Made learning a breeze and I still use it as my light wind board.

Re: Use a wavekite with a twintip?

I use Religions, though rarely on a TT. But that's not because it doesn't work. It works, though it likes boardspeed, so its low end is not very good on a TT. Its topend is, though, so if you use it in strong winds, it will do you fine. You'll jump, but not quite to the moon. Do it! That’s not my e...

Re: Use a wavekite with a twintip?

I have 12 and 10.5 Obsessions and an 8m mk7 religion. I only ride twin tip. The religion is a great kite. Goes upwind as well as any other and jumps great too. My only niggle is it’s pretty heavy on the bar. I did have a 7m vision until I destroyed it at the weekend so am looking for another, but I ...

Looks like it opens a Garmin app on your phone. Try opening the link on your computer, or copy a link and open in a browser.
Anyway of making it compatible with the Fenix 3?
I suspect quite a lot of kiters might have had a 3 for a while, but don’t feel the need to upgrade.

Re: RRD Obsession mk10 for freeride

I ended up getting a MK11 for the same price as a ten. Love it. Not too technical at all, easy to fly and relaunches well. It’s no doubt capable of so much more than my skills allow.

Re: Kite size for TT: 13,5m+10,5m+what else?

Get an 8m religion. Simple. Works perfect with a 10.5. I haven’t used my 7m since getting the 8. The gap between 10.5 and 7 is a little too much, 9 would be too close for my liking.

Re: Pansh A-15 ultralight, add a Blow-Out valve

I can understand the need for a blowout valve in a 10m venom, as it’s a fast flying high wind kite.
But would a slow flying, slow turning low wind kite ever hit the water with that much force that it could blow the internal structure?

RRD Obsession mk10 for freeride

Good deals to be had on RRD equipment in the UK. I'm currently riding a Mk8 Passion, but want to upgrade as I'm finding the passion a bit sedate now. I was thinking of the mk10 obsession, but wonder if it might be a bit too extreme for my style. I have good kite control and general freeride ability,...

Re: Aaron Hadlow Twenty Part V - UK

Hehe. My home spot. That surfer in the shallows at the beginning is me.
Aaron was ripping it that day when nobody else could stay upwind.
I stopped surfing and just sat and watched once I realised who it was.

Re: single skin variable size kite Aeros S1 Duo

Interesting in a single skin, but not exactly a new concept. http://www.spidertraction.co.uk/Modulus.htm Where’s the true innovation gone in kiting? All the kite companies jumped on the foil wing band wagon when someone dragged one of these out of their shed and tried it on a foil. https://theawesom...
