Re: Fuerteventura for intermediate kiter

Yes there is rescue service on flagbeach, pay before.
Gunnar can be more precise but with wind from N to E flagbeach and from N to W Cotillo (great spot)
You’ll be fine at low tide at flagbeach it is not a prob, go out and in more to the rental center.

Re: Kite Foil Quiver for a heavy guy

Hi assuming you got a big foil (wave). Getting a bigger Peak has no use, I recently got a 8m besides my 3,4,5 and 11m Peak. The 8m is way better then the 11m, don't know the 13m but it is stated somewhere that it is somewhat better then the 11m. For sub 10 kts you need twin skin foils, and preferabl...

Re: Why isn't there a huge single skin?

Performance, the usable windrange is horribly bad getting overpowerd/dragged Downwind as soon as you are able to fly it. You have single skin paragliders that weigh less than 2kg, but only used to hike up and glide downhill as the performance is too poor to thermal and soar with them. Single skin P...

Re: Foil kites on foil boards?

Been a twintip rider for years and am just getting into foilboarding. Everyone is telling me that my foil kites will be no good for foilboarding because they fly too far forward in the window (etc). Is this true? I doubt it (and also don't want to believe it). I bet you can fly your kites without l...

Re: Gong High Aspect wings

Are there already max speed numbers available of the H wings? Don't know what you mean Janus? Would not make sense as it depends on loads of factors not associated with the very wing  I think there was a thread about this earlier - I don't find it can ever be correct so did not read through.....

Re: Gong foils: discussion

Hi, using Fluid XLT and MT, 70kg, monoblock 85cm and Veloce S stab. XLT and kiting; way to big for me. MT; works ok for a freeride riding type, turns really nice, but still a draggy feel compared to my other kiting setup. So I wouldn’t go bigger at my weight. Had an L too (only winged with it) great...

Re: Tracking Device

I use now the free version of Zef, it has really nice tracking.
The Surfr. App has really bad tracking, the refreshrate is way too low for accurate tracking, you only get lines no curves with surfing, gybing or tacking.
