Re: Ditch my 2008 Ozone 11m for a Bandit 12m

Bandit is more of a beginners or cruisers kite - have you flown the bandit? If you are not over 50 or a beginner, stick with your Ozone gear.

Re: Lombok

it sucks - don't go.

Kidding - Its awesome but remote and expert only shallow reef massive waves. The spot is camped on by pro's during the season and already overcrowded.

NSI deceiver was first (to my knowledge) - the Best bag is identical to the NSI with simply a slightly diferent logo....in any case a great bag but very large and can raise eyebrows at airport chackin. IMHO safest way is to get a real oversize golfbag - this means that your board size will need to b...

On the North website in there is a box that describes the rider profile for the Vegas. Under the prfile it lists lightweight riders. Why is this? This doesn't hunt with Toby big ass still enjoying the ride and using a 16/12 Quiver.

Re: Thai

Other than April in Hua Hin - in general Thailand blows for kiting....don;t go to Thailand to kite but if you happen to be there working or for vc with your family then you might get lucky.

If you are coming to Asia to kite then go to Vietnam (Mui Ne), Philippeans (Boracay), or Hainan.

hui hin should work - but a guy your size will only need a big kite - wind rarely gets over 20 knots. Usually 12 - 20knots and only happen when it get hot inland.

Nost people kite between the Marriott and the Hyatt.
