The place where i live doesnt have strong wind most time of they year. As i checked average speed is around 12-15 knots. We have good winds during winter. Plus my weight is 200 pounds and I'm 6.0' You need a 17 A 17 or 18 would work better, but he just took lessons. Learning on a 17 may get hard. y...

Thx for the update!

Half March was pretty good in Cumbuco.

Then winds only light, but several days around 15 knots, so ok for hydrofoil.

Then beginning of April we had an amazing week with 7 straight days of 20-25 knots, even gusting up to 32 knots!

Last Sunday again 20-25 knots...
