Re: The new Naish Wing-Surfer LE

Every time I see a Naish product with skulls I can't help but immediately think of this classic thread topic:

Re: Naish 135L Wing/SUP Inflatable review...

Great answers, I really appreciate the feedback. You haven't completely talked me out of an inflatable but I think I'll be limiting my search to the 2nd hand market (let me know when you get tired of yours  ). But after 8 months off the water, I'm pretty eager to get at this winging thing so I...

Re: Naish 135L Wing/SUP Inflatable review...

Thanks for the review. Any more comments on the how the overall shape of the board works for wingfoiling (for a beginner)? Visually, the wide tail is a bit of a turn off. And do you think the foilmount provides enough stiffness for pumping with a big front wing? (I didn't see it mentioned so I assum...

Re: Wetsuit Colours

Do a search for "Matt Wilkinson wetsuits" then give rip curl a call and see if they can set you up (though it may help to be a professional surfer...) http://xgames.espn.com/xgames/gallery/9862652/image/1/matt-wilkinson https://kite.sista.zone/the-10-most-unique-wetsuit-designs/ Personal fave: http:...

Looking for comparison of LF Impulse and Moses Onda Foils

Can anyone compare the characteristics of these two foils? Obviously the Onda is the most hyped foil of the season - probably for good reason. Is it worth the price premium over the impulse for a beginner/intermediate foiler? (Onda: ~$1800USD vs. Impulse $1300USD) From what I've read the impulse see...

Re: Best to kite and learn to surf in the US?

SPI sounds good.... But if you have any interest in HI check out their pet-importation polices. Assuming you have a few months before your internship starts and don't mind spending some cash on tests for your cat, you can arrange for direct release at the airport w/ no quarantine. Not an easy proces...

Re: Best to kite and learn to surf in the US?

If you're serious about wind/waves and are somewhat flexible on your definition of 'flatwater', I would think Maui should be your first (only...) choice. The lack of butter smooth water didn't seem to hurt Lou and the boyz from learning some wakestyle moves. If you prefer something more 'metropolita...

Jankie, Nice bag. Looks perfect for a kiteboard. Hopefully Dakine or some other company will recognize the need for smaller board bags and bring something like that to market. ...Of course by then we'll all be riding 6'0"+ boards in the surf. Raoul, The differences are minor. The deluxe is made out ...

I use the 6'0" daylight deluxe (worth the extra $10.00USD over the standard daylight surf IMO) with a 5'9" kiteboard. I would not say the bag fits a 5'5" well. In my opinion the bag is way oversized even for a 5'9" (mainly in width). I wish I could recommend a better solution for smaller kiteboards ...
