Re: Squall Lofting Fatality In Normandy

Very heartfelt condolences! I kited in Houlgate this year, it is a lovely spot. Miles of beach at low tide, but launch is very close to the concrete barriers at high tide. I hope the family finds solace in the fact that their loved one died doing what he surely loved, and that the spot is among the ...

Re: Designer's Notes - Navigator Control System

Did anyone get to see a copy of this video before they took it down? Would love to hear the design points for this bar, specifically the safety leash swivel (if there is one).

Re: WOO iOS app not showing downloaded sessions

I sometimes have issues with the iOS app uploading sessions. But when that happens I use the Android app on my tablet and it always works.

Re: Broken chickenloop

Everything wears down eventually. You will get different recommendations for how long you can use a bar, but it is never years on end without expecting something to fail. I am risk averse, jump high, and spend money, so I replace my bar every year or two. I do not think that the design for the Iron ...

Re: Duotone pump compatibility

For what it is worth, I am using a WMFG pump and WMFG adapter on my 2018 North Kites. I have no leaks, no issues.

Re: Aluula ? New Revolutionary Material from Ocean Rodeo

A material’s ability to withstand tearing and punctures are not intrinsically related. If you have a loosely woven cloth made of fiber with very high tensile strength (Like Kevlar or Spectra/Dyneema), you will probably find it hard to tear, but a point will pass the weave easily. Think of opening th...

Re: Airush 2020 Collection

With the exception of the cumbersome bar end adjustments, the 2020 Core Cleat v4 is a mighty fine looking bar. Would love to see a video on the new quick release.

Re: Eleveight RS with different bar

You can use pretty much any modern 4 line bar, except high Y bars like Core and Duotone Trust. Might need pigtails to adapt loops/knots.

Cabrinha, Best, Eleveight, Ozone will work directly
Duotone, Naish will need pigtails.

Aruba: Last Minute Travel

I got the opportunity to go to Aruba for the next five days, found out today. I have never been. I am eyeballing a place to stay near Boca Grandi. What kite sizes should I take? I am 90kg and love to ride powered. For reference, two weeks in Cumbuco in September I rode my 12m mostly, 9m on downwinde...
