I think she was going for a board off megaloop but didn't get the pull on the bar right and the rest was history!
You are correct. She is doing a boardoff and for some reason does not pull enough with the bar hand to finish the loop. Not sure what that reason is, but it is a spectacular result!

Lost: North Navigator Bar (Tybee Island, GA, USA)

Left a bar on the beach Friday night August 14th. Got caught quickly packing and rolling up gear before a storm rolled in. Left above the high tide line on the beach near the Chatham Ave parking area near 19th St. I can describe some unique aspects of the particular bar in question. Thanks and a mon...

Only thing I can think he is saying is attached to this post. No idea how that passes through the chicken loop though.

Re: Duotone 2021

One question to Duotone users. Again not a big issue, but is it normal for these kites to not really deflate properly when opening the valve(s)? I remember many years ago when I had to "roll" the air out of the kite, but that is never an issue with my Ozones. Boom and the air is gone. That didn't h...

Re: Rebel to Dice or Evo

Why do you not like the Rebel? All three kites really are very good. Much, much better than anything most people started with. Unless there is a strong reason you do not want a Rebel, just keep using it. I do not think that at your stage right now it makes sense to spend money for a different kite. ...

Re: Problem with North Navigator bar

Make sure that your leash is beneath your donkey dick. Should not happen too much with the Navigator. On bars like Ozone the leash attachment sticks out far beneath the QR cuff, so you can easily have the leash hookup above the donkey dick. Then the leash eventually pulls the donkey dick out of the ...

Re: Difficulty landing with the Duotone rebel.

Faxie above is right. If you have not done downloops yet either, you should learn those first. A heli-loop is really just a downloop that you start much higher. Again, whether you redirect, downloop, or heli-loop the idea is to have the kite moving above your head when you land. Redirecting works at...

Re: Difficulty landing with the Duotone rebel.

Above 10 meters, I am not sure I know how to land well without a heli-loop. I feel it would have to involve a lot of redirecting the kite, not keeping it static. For all jumps, the idea is to have the kite actively flying (redirecting) above your head as you land. For the higher jumps, the help-loop...
