Re: Kite Designer Pat Goodman leaves North

With Pat leaving North and the popularity of the Orbit it will be interesting to see what he does next. Cabrinha already has two "do it all" kites - the Moto and Switchblade. The Moto is a freeride kite with emphasis on foiling and surf while the Switchblade is a freeride kite with emphasis on big ...

Re: Kiteboarding while it's raining?

Bragnouff’s post above reads pretty much exactly like I was about to type. A good rain session can be awesome, but requires more vigilance and familiarity with the weather patterns of the spot.

Re: Evo vs Rebel vs RPM

Keep your RPMs. Nothing wrong with them. Once you get better and decide what you like to do and what riding style you prefer, then review the market.
If you really want the Clickbar, you can use it with the RPM no issue.

Re: Problem with North Navigator bar

I also had the issue with the safety getting twisted. Honestly, it made me a better kiter since it forced me to learn to frontroll and backroll in “suboptimal” conditions to untwist the line. But yeah, before that I would trim in depower to unload the line then unclip my safety while riding and twir...

Straps. I am sure the board shines with boots, but I do not personally like like risks that come from boots if you have a rare failure or a foot slipping out.

Re: Naish stomp review by users

I have a great deal of experience with the Stomp, and not a lot of experience with other boards. I own a Core Fusion (Which I broke, repaired, and my partner is using now) a Crazyfly Bulldozer (Which I broke, repaired, and am now storing) and a Nobile XTR light wind twintip. Of the bunch, the Stomp ...

Re: Duotone Dice 2022

This looks good. I was not happy to see the Duotone “D” logo sewn into the canopy of the recent Dice kites. The asymmetric stitching bothers me from a load/wear/stretch perspective. Looks like the new canopy is back to sane panel layouts. Hopefully that is not unique to the SLS kites. Otherwise, it ...

Re: Naish Dash 2021

That was incredibly helpful, I do appreciate it. Sounds like a cross between a GP and a Dice. Sweet.

Re: Naish Dash 2021

After testing sooo many different models over the years, I finally found my final freestyle Kite. As a guy that has flown the RPM, RP:X, Dice, Best GP, Best TS, Eleveight FS, Cabrinha FX, and Bandit, I am very curious to know how the Dash feels. Any specific comparison to the above kites? I have th...

Re: Note: no more cars allowed to drive at Cauipe Lagoon, Cumbuco, Brazil

I did not know Varanda’s was illegally built, it did not seem to be cutting across a street or to be shoddily built. Shutting down the Main Street should be a good move, hopefully the grocery store (and other businesses) get a permit for trucks to make deliveries.
