Re: Core just released: XR6 and XR6 LW

I am not that strong of a kiter, let's say I will be an eternal intermediate. Took out this baby (XR6 10m) in 10ish knots on the Fusion 3 152 and in 32-33 (local distributor was very comfy on the Nexus 7m) on the Choice 139. Fun at 10? barely, comfy at 32? nah. But in between there is a lot of usabl...

Re: Eye saw the 2019 XR6 today

I think leaking info is good especially that they come out mid season. People are eager to get their gear in March-April... should I wait for the Core or get the Duotone that came out last October or December? There are benefits to leaks. Lt’s Say the kite specializes more and gains bar pressure and...

Re: Core Nexus vs Evo vs Dice

Well I sold them, they were 13m 2016 and 10m 2017. I tried the 9m 2018 but found it very different, I found it very very light, did not feel grungy at all... Not sure if I liked it.

Core Nexus vs Evo vs Dice

Current Dice rider, going towards Evos because I want more float to try to pass hand plants and a few other hooked in tricks. I am a bit heavy, 184 90kg. Curious if the Nexus would give me that extra float. I also like to play in the waves with my TT, the Duotone Evo is fine in that department but I...

Re: Split boards - worth the money?

I bought the 138 NHP Carbon. If you want a no tool option, this is it. If not the Element seems like a sweet ride. The 138 is a large board but I never got over board... I rode it from 13 ish knots up to 35 ish in chop and all, you name it. I bought this board for when I travel for work, I pack a re...

Re: 2018 North Evo, any thoughts?

I always inflated my kites to 9-10 PSI. The 2018 and 2019 Evo are fairly similar in the 12m range. Before that I owned the 2016. I am sur;raised about the poor lowend, I took the 12m out when there were only surfs, hydrofoils and 17s ans stay on it until you start seeing 8 and 9’ Popping out. So ran...

Re: North Dice 2018 unhook issues

Hello,

Yes lines checked, I just think the 2016 had a much wider sweet spot, at the expense of lift which the 2018 , generates much more. The 2018 is a bit higher aspect ration that 2016 soit lifts more and has improved hangtime...
