Re: Ram air first session damage

Nayy, if the kite fell from sky as in those light winds with a light impact, I would be very surprised if a tear was caused. However if kite was hammered into water multiple times, I guess there would be a greater risk of a tear. If the kite was floating on the surface while you swam to shore then t...

Re: getting up on foil wing foiling

I use the JP Australia 7' (115L) mainly with the Starboard foils (Ocean 2400, 2000 and Wave 1700). Was foiling on first attempt out. I wind foil , sup foil and kite foil as well so felt the transition was pretty straight forward with the wing foiling. I used the Starboard Ocean 2000 foil on my first...

Re: Ozone Edge V10 - Packing a serious punch

The Ozone Edges I would say pack a little more punch than the Enduros, when underpowered. Based on your specs the 11m Edge as you have mentioned would be the best fit without jumping to the larger 13m. You can play with the line length as well... ie 23, 25, 27m lines... I have a 10m Edge and always ...

Re: Cabrinha control bar landing line sticky

Mmm, but they would not always roll over, that was the problem.. The industry has ditched them completly at this point... Mine always rolled over, but then they'd keep on pulling and fly upside down in the sky  The only time I've released out of fear of life and limb, that "feature" came in ha...

Re: Cabrinha control bar landing line sticky

I recently bought used gear to get into kitesurfing. The kite and bar are a 2011 Cabrinha. When I pull the emergency release on the control bar the landing line doesn't slide out smoothly. It feels hard for me to pull it through the black pipe. Is this normal? If it isn't, please let me know the fi...

Re: Foil polesurfing

Any foilers have a pole surfing rig with a foil for extremely light unstable conditions? Is it worth doing both so there’s never a down time? I would say kitefoiling has the slight advantage in light wind foiling performance as others have mentioned, while wind foiling has the advantage of sailing ...

Re: sup foil for kite

Maybe a little bit out of topic, but I wanted to use the ocasión. - Would the SUP foils mentioned in this thread work for wing-foil? I love my Moses 633 for Kite foiling, but I fear it will be too small for Wing and SUP foil, is that right? - Can I asume that SUP foils are the right size for Wing f...
