Re: Neil Pryde Glide Reports/Reviews?

I tried the combi Large wing with the small stab without shim washer. Too much pressure on my frontfoot. No fun at all. I prefer adding the washer to reduce a bit of lift from the L wing as my foil cant be moved back anymore in the track. A really fun foil giving that surfy feel. I use both the L a...

Re: Do Kite Bags Suck?

Like the old 2013 Ozone bag https://www.versusshop.nl/media/wysiwyg/review/ozone-catalyst-2013/review-ozone-catalyst-8.jpg I like the more recent Ozone bags even better as they use heavy duty plastic zippers. The latest bags from Ozone are awesome.. roomy, light weight firm material, drain holes fo...

Re: Ozone Catalyst vs Endura and Edge

Antonio6, the Ozone Catalyst V1 is a very stable, smooth riding, forgiving kite which makes it suitable to all skill levels. Rides like an offroad car with excellent suspension. Typically these features found on the Cat V1 benefit those learning, however these feature also appeal to intermediate and...

Re: Which kite is the easiest to re-lunch at low winds?

Had a great session recently on the Ozone 10m alpha in light winds and foiling on the NP Glide L. Dropped kite several times when botching transitions and kite fell out of sky. Being able to relaunch in such light winds was confidence inspiring.

Re: Ozone Infinity V1 - No more sitting on the beach when it is light wind

Looks like a copy of the Shinn King Gee Board series that exists for years. The Board concept invented by Shinn works. For this reason even the product marketing of Ozone is very similar. The recently released successor of the Shinn King Gee the Super King follows the evolutionary path of product r...

Re: what is 2010 Powerdrive IDS worth. New

Who knows what you will get for the Cabrinha SB 2010 but definitely a cool kite.. Awesome kite for its time and in many ways still holds up today. The 2010 IDS system was fine. The IDS system when flagged with the SB still creates less pull than a single front line kite of today. This made it a grea...

Re: wind range 9m hyperlink

Mar, I have used the Ozone Catalyst V1 8 and 6m for foiling and find that it is a very good choice as well as it has a softer feel in gusty conditions when compared to the Ozone Enduro or Edge which are much more aggressive and powerful feeling especially when hit by a gust . I am 70Kg and with medi...

Re: What lightwind kite should I choose for a small rider?

Jadog, Has your lightwind path changed,,, if so what is your new goal? In reality winds of 6-8kts are very light and any real hope of riding in these winds you will need a lightwind specific foil kite and suitable hydrofoil and good technique. In my opinion LEI kites just cant stay up in the sky in ...

Re: What lightwind kite should I choose for a small rider?

Jadog, Lots of great advice given. Challenge is that riders may not be comparing “apples to apples” when it comes to wind strength. Ie my 8knot interpretation might be more or less than another persons. I personally on some occasions push the light wind riding where the kites no longer can stay in t...

Re: Bermuda - Any current info on kiteboarding there?

Dtj2nuva, Winds are normally great in February. Winds can range from 10-40+ knots. Elbow beach on the south side of the island and Somerset Long bay on the north side of the island are the two main kiting spots. A full wetsuit would be recommended 4-5mil.
