Re: Safe Jump Height

You've chosen the wrong sport :D

Just kidding... A crash not only depends on the height, but also the speed and the position of your body. A 5m height kiteloop crash will hurt you x10 times more than a normal jump crash at same height.
Impact vests and helmets help reduce the damage.

Re: Switch Helium 3

Well I got new Ozone bars which are perfectly calibrated and my Helium 3 still drops out of the sky every now and then. Even when it was gusty 19-24kn, the 12m seems to come way too forward at the Zenith and hindenburgs. Even with the more stable bottom LE bridle setting. It is literally the worst ...

Re: This is funny...a Beach Deadman

I remember that...very scary...and amazing that he survived it. Lucky for sure but also very smart in his decision when to bail out of this. he is a really great guy and all up for our sport. Would have been a big loss for the sport if he had died. I don't think so... bailing out of a paraglider wi...

Re: Kite size for Majorca - June

Anyone from Majorca (Mallorca) able to advise on what kind of wind to expect in June? I was thinking of bringing my 14 / 17m and leaving the 10 at home, sound good? I'm a loaf so 14m is good for me up to 23kts ish. Few years ago I spent all the summer sailing in Pollença Bay. Forget small and mediu...

Re: Kiteforum Update 2019

It pisses me off clicking each post to see the location of the products. Why don't you do encourage people to write the name of the country in CAPS at the start of the post titles? It will save us tons of clicks and private messages asking for the location. e.g. UK - For sale: Kite RRD Obsession MK8...

Re: Kiteforum Update 2019

I find Second Hand and Special Offers forums little useful. Reasons: The post title never tells the country of the item. Sometimes even in the post description you can't find the location (very common in US sellers  ). Very little activity. I posted a used kite almost 3 months ago and it is st...

Re: Kiteforum Update 2019 - any suggestions? Site can be offline sometimes!

I assume you already saw the changes :D Thanks to your suggestions we have now a really nice and clean overview on the home for the latest topics. It's a list of the latest 30, in two columns with each 15. On mobile view it changes to one column with 20 topic names. For the ones who are used to one...

Toby!
This is a mess :-?
It's very hard to tell if the forum name belongs to the upper or the lower link...

Re: Making the home text visual nice - your help and opinion needed

There's too much space between the forum name and topic title. As a result it looks like 4 independent columns.
Narrow the space and it should be fine
