Re: drysuit with socks size question for those that use them

MC OK, I am thinking of latex socks, not gortex. The issue for me is easy of on-off which will be much easier. Sorry for polluting the thread

Re: drysuit with socks size question for those that use them

Followup: I think I will buy some latex socks to replace my ankle seals! Anything I need to know about this process? I already have the two-part glue as I replaced the neck seal recently.

Re: drysuit with socks size question for those that use them

Can I add on a quick question: is it significantly easier to get into a drysuit with socks? I guess you don't need that tight ankle at all which should make it a lot quicker. I find a regular drysuit is taking me longer to put on that my wetsuit...

Re: Pocket board building

I'm talking 75kg/m3 - at 25mm it feels really stiff so I would be scared that it would snap - I am still a bit scared to try...

Re: Pocket board building

I don't think you can bend 1" hd foam. I did a similar build and used kerfing to make the rocker. Some say that you can use heat to bend it but I didn't feel confident to do that. Otherwise I used two layers of uni 250g at 70 and 40% of the length top and bottom plus one layer of 200g twill. Total w...

Re: Wanted Ocean Rodeo Mako Kiteboard 150cm (Europe Ireland)

I've got a little one if anyone is interested: the 134 but with upgraded footstraps/pads. Same Mako goodness, but much smaller. One small repair on the rail. EUR100 plus 50 for postage in EU.

Haha a warm 6C. That's why you are barefoot I see. 100km east of you and people are wearing gloves and hoods already in September. One extreme to the other!

Noone mentions price. Newind seems unbeatable (but don't expect fast delivery!)

Re: Bar and Line Maintenance

Yeah, Its the simple things in life to keep Kitesurfing spicy. I just hate throwing old kite gear away, and now I have 1 bar per every kite. Unfortunately, a lot of the gear is not recyclable. Also follow up, does anyone recycle old kite lines or does it all go into the landfills? I'm all for reuse...

Re: Bar and Line Maintenance

Best RP bars, still love the bars and the systems (they do have quirky chicken loops and like to release on their own sometimes) Wow. Some folk are easy to please :P I'll try to add something useful to my post: No, I don't think there is any reason to worry about the age of unused dyneema, assuming...
