Re: Ozone EXP - Unintended Possibilities

The thing with single skin kites is that while they might not relaunch in all cases, they are relatively easy to pack down in the water, or even reset and then relaunch. But kiting with an open-cell kite, I don't know. I guess the flexifoil blade crew can zimmerframe their way over to the computer a...

Shortening the chicken loop on RRD Global V8 Bar?

I've shortened a few chicken loops before by taking them apart and resplicing the loop line (old ozone, naish, best) Has anyone done this with the RRD bar? The whole chicken loop setup seems really big and clumpy. Asking for a friend with short arms. https://www.robertoriccidesigns.com/equipment/wp-...

Re: Bar for foiling

Or directly pull on the line to reset its length ; works well, for example yesterday I have extend the rear lines of at least 10 cm like this, very easily on the spot if you have an attachment point on the spot while no other sting knot available on your connections Once a line has shrunk then I ha...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

3 yrs, pretty frequently (5m most often in my set). Have you reviewed the condition of the plastic rods? With single skin kites, their condition is extremely important. You think so? The ones in the body of the FS hybrid are very low quality (quite thin) and are twisty even when new. I replaced a c...

Yeah I found it thanks: viewtopic.php?p=1194744#p1194744

so, change C knot +1.5cm and find a way to lengthen B by an additional 1.75cm (following mashimisha's recommendation)

Re: test of Hysper v2 from Sky Country, relaunchable single skin

What's the easiest way to increase camber on this mixer? You have to shift the knots... Easy enough I think. - Oliver I have not looked at it in a while and don't remember where it adjusts (A,B,C,Z) so I was being lazy and hoping for something like "shorten A and Z at the knot 1cm and lengthen B wi...

Bruno's web site is dead, but the wayback machine has some copies of the text: https://web.archive.org/web/20230609074009/http://www.brunoinventions.com/development.html I use a small fridge compressor to fi...

Re: Brand comparisons for trainer kite for children

5.5 hybrid is quite big. I took a 55kg adult out for a lesson in what I thought was light winds and the 3.5 proved to be plenty enough on land, and I think that they could have gotten going on a board in the water. I think it would be the absolutely best kite for teaching kids to kitesurf. https://w...

Re: Bar for foiling

I will soon offer my custom bar with lines for around 170 euros. The bar will look exactly like the picture below. For several months, the bar has been tested by me and several friends. The reviews are very positive. You will sell loads at that great price. A suggestion. Once you remove the clamcle...
