Re: From which jumping height the heliloop is mandatory?

There is no requirement for a heli-loop. It's just a way to control the kite to make sure it stays above you. Active flying will do the same thing, but more difficult to land reliably as HPR said. It also looks awesome when you get that little lift 1-2m from the water for super smooth landings. :th...

Wasn't there a rule which said : if somebody can't spell "Cabrinha" - they should stick to gardening?

Re: Introducing the IQR from Airush

Actually, props to Airush for maintaining compatibility within their line. This season I've replaced trimmers (along with that pu-covered main line) on my 2015 and 2017 bars with the clam cleat style ones. And - I'm fairly certain that I'll be replacing chickenloops on both bars for next season. Oth...

Re: Pump lube

Get some air tools oil. Good for seals and safe for bladders. Splash of that stuff under the piston along with an occasional few drops on the shaft and your pumps will last for ages.

Re: Best bar ever made? LF Mission V3

Not to high jack the conversation, but I'm currently using a LF mission v2 handle with an ion riot 6 harness (beginner package from mackiteboarding) and really struggling with having the chicken loop pop off by twisting around the hook on the harness. This has led to quite a few launches where the ...

Re: Bandit 2019/20 or XR5/6

Back in Bandit 6 days I owned an XR3 in 10m for a few sessions... really liked its windrange and boosting ability, totally seek upwind - but it sucked balls for everything else. Loops one way with tight lines, loops another way with slacker lines, etc. Replaced it with the Bandit and this thing felt...

Re: quick release ejecting accidentally

These are actually fairly hard to activate by accident, unless either there's something bogus going on with it - or you're doing something what you aren't aware of. Have you picked it up used? Are both elastics there? In what condition is the release mechanism? yep bought used. both elastic bands a...

Re: Waist Harness Bruising Ribs ?

Personally for landboarding I do the following: a. Sunny day light wind just climbing harness, a mid range Black Diamond, chicken loop to carabiner. Just cruising about. b. Serious light wind session board shorts harness. Maybe some unhooking. c. Winds up climbing harness/waste harness combo becaus...
