Yeah I guess so, In onshore I think it's worse windsurfin when you lose too much power, I think I could do better with a wave kite & if that wasnt enough - pack it away & get paddling for the waves!!!

who gives a f*** it's fun! My point is I too found wave kiting dissapointing & way prefered wave sailin but the aquisition of a sick wave kite (Rev) has converted me, its great if you want fly it aggressive down loops etc, or you can be lazy as hell & let it drift, light wind performance is awesome....

I like windsurfin in waves (haven't done it for a while tho) & wasnt fussed on waves with C kites. I used to hate it when it powered right up forced me to edge. Got me a SS Rev 9 & love it now, get a new kite thats good for waves & all your probs will be solved. Went out today in onshore waves, grea...

A better mod might have been to add a pulley to the de-power rope to make it work smoother, the stopper ball rocks especially for boostin some big old skule tricks!!

The Rev is a hybrid with added vitamin C

Small rev & big Fuels would be great.

Rev has bigger range & bigger sweet spot if you get nice constant conditions regularly, the choice would be harder, if not you would like the Rev's versatility.
