Re: Has anyone used tile to track stolen kite equipment?

Despite being under the footpad, I doubt that the Tile would be waterproof to survive your sessions. You might even crush it under the pressure of your foot. Test it out (but don't get your board stolen) and let us know how it goes :D I could have used a Tile on my recent trip to OBX. I got separate...

Lost: Nobile 666 XTR Board in Waves NC OBX

I lost my black Nobile 666 XTR while doing a downwinder from Salvo Day Use Area (foot strap broke off). I lost it before the Real Slick, and given how it was an extremely strong SW today (Thursday, May 25), it is probably between Salvo and Real but who knows. Please send me a PM. My contact info is ...

Kiting in Culebra Puerto Rico?

I plan to go down to Culebra in March. Its more of a getting-away-from-it-all trip with friends, not necessarily a dedicated kiting trip, BUT it would be sweet if I could squeeze in some kiting. Lots of space and water; you can go out pretty far in the Pamilco Sound and only be waist deep. Here are some great places (read: cheaper) to check out fo...

I fed the rear handle of my Nitrous harness through the reel leash. You'll need to remove your spreader bar to do that.

Re: Anyone tried the OCEANUS REEL LEASH?

I started kiting last year but have made a lot of progress in recent months. I bought the Reel leash (same as Oceanus) earlier this year I justified its use as I wasted more time retrieving my LF 151 than I did staying on the board (recall: beginner here.) It was very frustrating for me to get over ...
