Re: 2014 Liquid Force NRG

Thanks for the link, superpak. I've seen that one a few times... I think Pete rather likes it, but I can't believe there aren't more people out there who have had a go on the kite.
Anyone? LF Team Riders?

Re: Liquid Force M-80 (16m)used package - good price?

I learned on these kites... 2006/7 maybe... 9m/12m/16m... they were horrible. Bought a Havoc after these and kicked myself for not ditching them sooner.

2014 Liquid Force NRG

I think the kites start shipping this week, but I'm sure team riders and shops have been playing with it for a while. Can anyone give some insight on changes from 2013? I know the Envy is the 'easier to fly' kite, but I'm curious as to the stability (gusts, flying too far forward and stalling) and w...

Re: New Brand: Epic Kites

A lot of good press on these kites and for good reason.
I've had my 12m Screamer out in 11-15 knots (190 lbs, 137X41 Twin Tip) and had no problem staying upwind in less than ideal chop. Top notch customer service and so far, great build quality.
Can't wait to see what 2011 brings...

Re: New Brand: Epic Kites

OK, time to weigh in. I've been watching this thread for a while now and just last week decided to take the plunge and pick up a 12m Screamer. I was considering the Havoc and Rise as well in an attempt to nail that elusive one kite quiver, but Dimitri won me over. First of all, I have no affiliation...

Re: what about LF harnesses??

'09 LF Lux harness... had a Mystic Warrior, but find the LF more comfortable over the long haul. I know it's not a big deal, but it (the LF) doesn't flop around as much either when I'm carrying it to/from the beach... sounds trivial, but after chipping the bumper on my car putting it away/taking it ...

Too funny, I'm based in Charleston now, but will be in Vero next weekend (Easter). Brining the kite gear and hopefully the wind with me. Send me a PM.

Re: Which LF kite should I add to the quiver to improve lowend?

I agree with the poster above... I would go with either a Session or Havoc in the 16m size. I think there are some sweet internet deals on 16m Sessions. If you're okay with a slow kite to park/ride, this might be a good idea... Otherwise the board is probably the cheapest way to go... a good light w...
