Re: Gear that has exceeded your expectations!

In chronological order : FS SA 19 : excellent for low wind, expanding time on water PL Chargers : even today I keep coming back to these, they have a unique feel to them Zeeko Spitfire : very versatile, fun, sturdy Ozone Hyperlink v1 5m : very well behaved in strong wind for foiling, not twitchy and...

Re: Is zeeko blaster foil a flop?

Well 3 of them : a Ketos wave xl (nice but slow, with a pocket board), a Slingshot very wide one, whose name I don't remember (good for staying on the wave face but not for 'working' the wave if you see what I mean and not playful, but that may be partly due to the high volume Slingshot board, Alien...

Re: Is zeeko blaster foil a flop?

I do think anyone after a big font wing kind of foil should really consider a Spitfire, especially in its xlw iteration. A nimble and dynamic ride, feeling very smooth, excellent for jumping, or for progressing in foiling manoeuvres : I can only rave about it. I started playing in waves on a g&w wit...

Re: some proper Wave foiling with a Kite

@Gunnar
Remembering your great riding with the PL Chargers (first generation), don't you think those fast-moving and turning and great drifting kites could be a good match with this new aspect of wave kite foiling (provided one is already proficient on a foil in waves) ?

Re: Pansh Aurora2 19m with Zeeko Carver

+1 on the Carver wing efficiency. At 80kg I can ride consistently with a PL Charger 15, which is not really known for its low end / light wind capabilities. The Carver does allow you to start sooner and also can go really slow without dropping you down, which makes it very forgiving in many situatio...

Re: What's your favourite board and why ?

Started on a Zeeko Air Wave 5'2 strapless, that was nice but as I wanted to go to the spot on a motorbike, I bought a Slingshot Dwarfcraft 42 / 3'6. And then I found out that practical reasons can lead to true love 8) : - the feeling on that board is just amazing (it's a real step up, things become ...

Re: Impressions / Charger 10 & 12

Any update on the Chargers ? I currently also use bow kites as I liked initially their all round approach and good depower. But now I am more into wave and freestyle and I want to turn back to foil kites for mtb and snowkiting as well, though mainly kitesurfing. What holds me back is the depower of ...

Re: Long Distance Boards????

Here's a board that has been specifically designed for long distance (look for the orange one) : http://www.jbkitesurf.com/lesboards/index.html It's been used by Sylvain Maurin and Alex Caizergues at the 2010 Orange speed crossing in the Mondial du vent (Leucate). Great upwind, fast and comfy, I lov...

That's Marc Blanc, the current 'long distance' (ie. racing) French champion.
