Re: 80cm alu mast much worse compared to carbon for bigger wings for surfkiting?

I currently have 91 (93?)cm Carbon mast, but would like to have a shorter one, and thinking abt different options, ie. alu vrs. carbon 80cm masts. Alu obviously heavier than carbon, but for wavesurfing, would I notice this weigh somehow and what about the other downsides of alu, and are there any n...

Re: Wingfoiling not foiling?

Hi Everyone, I have no problems going upwind without foiling. Either with a Foilboard or a SUP without a foil. Horst Sergios Tips about Body Weight forward and Fin/Foil farther back are correct. Here are a few things I can say add to that. 1) A Daggerboard does not really work well. It can actually ...

Re: Moses 82cm mast

I’ve finally decided to get a 633. Now i’m wondering if i should go with 82cm or 91cm mast. I’m heavy, like 100kg naked. I heard that 91cm can be kind of flexy... My primary idea was to go with the 91cm, cause we got a lot of chop and small wave at my spots. Looks like 82cm mast is stiffer... Anyon...

Re: The Duotone Wing

There are wings out there which are much more flexible and just don't work in light wind, and also flex when you try to go hard into the wind and drop you off the back of the board. Could you name them please? Thanks! I am not going to do that. It is not my place to shame brands on this forum. -- G...

Re: The Duotone Wing

PS if you look at the Naish video of them jumping it, it hardly deforms under the strain. Quite a contrast to the V1 Naish wing that was a one-size-fits-all floppy noodle....The sport/technology is progressing quickly :D Wouldn't some deformation be desirable? A flexible wing should give a bigger w...

It is fine for kiting. And it pumps great. So for light winds it should be a great combo with the Peak4. I ride it with the 421 stabiliser for kiting.

You can check out my full review of the 790 if you have not done so already.

Re: Moses 2019-2020

Got a mate who has a 633 on the 82cm mast. He has a problem of the mast to fuselage screws loosening during use, one in particular is barely finger tight at the end of the session. I’ve had a close look at the threads and screws and can’t see any defects. The mast doesn’t bottom out in the base of ...
