Re: Corrosion on Fuselage Concern!

Aluminium foils are a really crap marketing joke. They're heavy and expensive for what you get and you're stuck with a maintenance workload for no real benefit. What a load of BS. There is a lot of great alufoils on the market: Zeeko, Alpinefoil,Gong,Moses.... Sure they require a little maintenance...

Re: Kitech FRS

Does anyone know of a e-mail adress other than "order@kitechkites.com" to use. Have waited since the 6th of December, just to get a price on a 6m FRS. Haven"t heard back yet... Difficult when you want to buy a new kite now, lol this is what a few days without wind does. 6 m kite only 960 Euro, 6m k...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Nice photos Peter! Bare feet in 6 celsius? What's the water temp? We've had unusually warm weather in Ontario up to now. Today it was 14 C . Water is around 10 C. Comfortable enough on a foil as your feet are not constantly getting splashed with water, but most people have been wearing booties for ...

Re: First impression of Gong M Pro

They sold me the M Pro with the surf stab it's too big the foil is too lifty too much down pressure from that stab on my setup. I had a 45cm stab from the kite foil but that was too big too so I had to cut it down and reshape the tips. It works sort of good now. I wish they had sent my the kite sta...

Re: First impression of Gong M Pro

I asked Gong for a Freewave M set, but with a change of stab from kite to surf. This is their answer: I fully recommend the kite stab 40cm with the front wing CURVE in kitefoil. You will still have a very good lift at low speed (due to the front wing CURVE) and it will allow you better performance a...

Re: Low rise booties - looking for feedback.

I have been using ATAN boots, for the last 25-30 years. They have IMO the best board feeling. :thumb: They are basically socks, dipped in latex rubber. Only downside is they don´t last more than 2 years, I use 3 mm all year ( water temp from 5-20°C) This year I bought the 3 mm Reef model ( with Kevl...
