Kiter killed in New Zealand

A kiter has been killed in Tauraunga New Zealand at fergusson park. Not sure on details. Person launched his kite. All was good. he did little boost to see how much power he had and a gust got him and thew him into car park throwing him onto a post. Area is know for gusty conditions. sad day.

Seems people who re buying them are receiving them reasonably quickly here in NZ but those who have warranty claim they aren't interested in. They said to me they would cover it but has been 3 months now and now sending me emails to buy a new one at a reduced price. WTF. :argue: :argue:

I feel the same, You know when you've done a big one . But woo doesn't say it. My biggest was on woo1 at 12.6 meters and that was way higher than the 14 meters on the woo 3. Acouple of weeks ago the boys on the beach thought I got around 18 meters but was only 11.9. That one felt the biggest id ever...

Im not a remotely interested in foiling. I live in THE Windiest city in the world. Always loads of wind around. :jump:

Hi guys, Who thinks Toby should have a separate forum for foiling and foil kites as there is so much interest out there. Im not interested in it but its clogging up the kiting forum page for those not interested in it. :jump: :roll:

Front loop it and you will land very softly but you need to initiate loop(depending on kite size)Approx 4 meters before landing. I do this even on my biggest kite. A 16 meter nitro 4

Front loop it. Butter soft landings. Or front loop, land toe side and transition back the other direction.
