Re: Foil board: Fone Ts51 vs Fone pocket vs LF galaxy

The thicker version of the 2020 F-One Pocket (110,120 or130cm) is now super light (2.5kg) carbon fiber. Did you try it? Does it change a lot? Don’t know how much weight is the pink version. Haven't tried the new 2020 carbon pocket but the 2019 bamboo pocket is pretty light. On such a small board I ...

Re: Best pocketboard for hydrofoil?

I don't like concave or convex decks for me (and most brands) flat deck is the best.

Re: Best pocketboard for hydrofoil?

There is no such thing as best, just preferences or circumstances, and as such, this post will be a long list of different brands.

Re: F ones magnet carbon

Abt light pocket boards, for example my Moses T22 is 1960 grams and it's "cheap". T22 is tiny and has no adjustable mast tracks . Pocket boards in the 120 to 130 cm range from top manufacturers with tracks these days weigh in at around 2.5kg. If you are into Moses T45 is a good example at 4'2'' it ...

Re: F ones magnet carbon

Black is definitely not the best color choice, especially if you live in a very sunny country as I do. I already own an F-One Slice 5'1'' carbon which is pretty light and very strong at 2.8kg complete, so 2.3kg for the Magnet sounds unreal. Not sure what this new construction layup is, but can imagi...

Re: Foil board: Fone Ts51 vs Fone pocket vs LF galaxy

I had Mitu 5'8'' convertible, Slice 5'1'' convertible, 51TS and Pocket 130cm 2019. The Mitu, although heavier in its convertible version, is still an excellent surfboard but as a foilboard the main problem is the domed deck (flat deck is much better for foiling) and it is a little bit too long. If I...

Re: IKA SNAFU

Well said bigcan but you can't stop progress and other manufacturers will soon catch up or come up with new or better solutions and in a few years what is a secret now will be common knowledge or obsolete. It happens in all trades. ML could be left with a "has been" design and no Olympics (not that ...
