Re: Crazyfly support is extremely poor

You should call them on the phone. I’ve called them several times and they have always been very helpful.

Re: Oceanus kite reels: I still see them

If you get the Oceanus, get the one with the quick release to make it safer.

Re: Better kite compression bag? Hate the single strap

Looks like Slingshot has a similar bag - https://www.slingshotsports.com/Universal-Kite-Bag My favorite bag is the Ozone snowkite bag - https://ozonekites.com/products/accessories/snow-kite-technical-mountain-bag/ Would you be able to fit a 12 and a 9m LEI in that Ozone bag? I guess so? I don’t kno...

PKS Distribution makes a kite compression bag that looks pretty good, but only one shoulder strap.

Re: 17m kite Overkill

<t>I’ve had some of my best sessions on my Contra 15 with lots of flat water and just cruised. I’ve got to try the 17 which is still new in the bag, never pumped. I was on a 17 years ago and it was fine but the visual that shocked me was the guy launching (over 6ft tall) it with the kite looked to b...

Re: Better kite compression bag? Hate the single strap

Have you seen any damage to your kites caused by compression bags? I ask because some users claimed they saw damage, but I would like to try them. Maybe the vacuumed air out bags were different and don’t seem in use anymore.

Re: GPS tracker for travel kiteboard bag?

Never had a kite bag stollen but had a nice looking scuba gear bag get sliced open and someone told me thieves do that so they can reach in and feel around for expensive regulators to steal. I was only carrying snorkel gear in the bag so they didn’t steal it but hated having a new bag ruined. A frie...

Re: BBTalkin headset issues

Call Jeff at Air Padre since I think they use them with students. You might also contact Gath Helmets about the mics they use. Maybe some of the mics from marine radios would be better - some of the ocean lifeguards or their Administration offices, or Coast Guard, Rowing teams, could tell you what t...

Re: Inguinal Hernia - to kite or not to kite?

I wouldn’t delay as mine only got worse with time, and the cost to fix it usually goes up with time. I’ve got an uncle that had one that got strangulated an required emergency surgery. It was an easy surgery, go to sleep, wake up an hour later, leave, and only felt out of it and weak for a day. Don’...
