Re: Left arm problem when holding bar and ridning toeside

Yeah I have one of those too and it makes a hell of a difference. There are quite a few sliding hook or rope spreaders now.

Re: Fatality in France

Has someone more specific info on what happened? Apparently it was a gust to make the poor guy hit a wall/dam. The French report says: ''c'est en dépliant sa voile de kitesurf que le trentenaire a été emporté par un vent contraire.'' It is while unfolding his kitesurf sail that the thirty year old ...

Re: Kitesurfing Greece - Best Locations

Hi! I'm going to be spending ~4 weeks kitesurfing in Greece this July. I am at an intermediate level (in the process of learning to ride upwind) so I would want to be somewhere relatively beginner-friendly. Ideally I would rent gear and pay for a rescue service just in case I get into trouble Any a...

Re: Exploring Cuba? (beyond Cayo Coco, Guillermo)

Are there some low key places where I can just live close to the beach and get to know a typical Cuban lifestyle? Where would I find this? A typical Cuban lifestyle is working very hard 5 or 6 days a week for next to nothing, and having very limited freedoms and no Internet. I don't think you want ...

Re: Best place to retire in Europe for Old boy board freak

I'm going through the same thought process. I considered the Montpellier- Beziers area of France but not warm enough in winter. My sister in law has a beachfront condo 10 km to the South of Valencia Spain which I could use, but this year (late Decembrer, it was too cold also for my taste and also to...

Re: Seat harness recommendation

Used to have a DaKine Fusion.Found it too thick, too padded, too cumbersome. I tried a DaKine Vega: a very minimal design. Love it ! http://www.powerkiteshop.com/images/productimages/accessories/dakinevega2015black.jpg Especially with a Dynabar (sliding hook) http://www.united-ocean-sports.de/image...
