Finding Neverland

Just before lockdown hit (South Africa) I went on a trip to Namibia.
It is becoming a yearly thing... What a place!

Until we can hit the water again, I can only remember this awesome trip.

Mixing it up

Just a fun video with some loops, waves and old school.
The music is also old school

Filmed in South Africa.

Re: Damage Waivers for Assisting Kiters

Interesting topic indeed, and sadly I think that if you encounter a kiter with no scruples and a lawyer with financial aspirations, a percentage of the incident (accident) will rest on the shoulders of the launcher, even after a thumbs up. Not a pretty can to open but a sad reality.

Sardinian Summer 2019

I got a chance to discover some more of the island of Sardinia this summer.

It's a chilled out video a little too long by social media standards...

Video trip to Namibia

A few months ago I visited Namibia. A really special trip and an absolute blast (for my type of riding at least). Amazing landscapes! There is a blog too:

Re: Ouch...what went wrong here?

looks like either his chicken loop wasn't hooked in or he popped the release by mistake then held on and has no experience flying a 2 line over powered kite.

Re: Waist and seat harness in the same session?

Yeah I use both and sometimes in the same session. Much prefer waist harness for Wave riding and the seat for loops and old school. Sometimes I will old school in a waste too, it does work different muscles. I am also of the opinion that shifting the stress on the body is good to avoid injuries. ( I...

Re: 2018 Axis Limited/Vanguard

I've got a 2018, 142x44. Had 140x43 2013 and 2015 models too. Medium rails, less aggressive channels/spines. Notice less resistance when sliding a transition but I think this board tracks better through chop. A little less harsh through the chop too, a little softer maybe, but that might just be th...

Re: 20 Years of Kiting!

Thanks for all your info and efforts Rick, and Toby for the platform. My early days were spent trolling the net to find ways to stay alive... Yeah Also been at it since 2000 first on a Peter Lynn Waterfoil then on the arcs. (was the only kites back then you could land and launch on your own). And we...
