I have Aboards X-series kiteboard from 2010 but mate is old and the time has come to get replacement. Generally i like this board great pop and good upwind, but it's a bit too hard. Need to be careful on landings otherwise get unpleasant impact on legs. Have they improved this in newer models?

that's what i was thinking as well, with some of my buddies considering a kite trip

when going out on other boards i have not felt too much difference
in weight compared to my aboard. my guess it that they are about the same as

both boards are great with a bit of specifics. z-series has excellent upwind.
