Re: Old/Ancient gear - what is it good for?

I have 2008 nemesis kites still in great shape. Would a newer OR bar work with them. The best bar is a low y. I looked at the compatibility chart posted on this forum awhile back and best sites weren't listed.

Re: Best waroo year

I am sure it is a 2007. I have 9, 12, and 14 nemesis's, 2007 which I still fly. The 14 is the same pink color. :thumb:

Good for her. "I felt the wind, and I felt the power. " Pretty much says it all!

Re: Kitesurfing in Maui

I will be leaving as you are arriving. I am 180 and am brining 6,9, and 12 with 150 mako tt. Might bring directional, but not sure I want to pay oversize fee. Go to mauiwindcam. They have a cam of kanaha beach. Fun to check out.

Even if the wind is flat, surfing and SUP are great.

Enjoy

Re: What’s the best board you have ever tried?

I have been riding the Mako 150 for years. Bought an OR Duke last year and still trying to get dialed in on that. The duke is a great ride, goes up wind with no effort, flattens chop, and surfs great. The 150 is still the go to board

North Dakota kiters?

Just returned from a legacy trip to Minnesota with mother in law, wife, sister and brother in law. 3400 miles from western US in a Toyota camry. We visited the old home stead and 6 grave yards with relatives from the "old country", Norway. Going through ND I was amazed at the mini lakes that appeare...

Charleston, NC in Feb?

One of my daughters just moved to Charleston, and we are going to fly out and see her in mid Feb. Is it worth dragging along golf bag of kites and pay oversize fee. Last time I flew with kites, they arrived 3 days latter  We will be there for about a week. Any input would be much appreciated. ...
