Re: Monofoil or "riding stabless", setup and riding

you stand around 10 cm further rear, when removing your stab. Of course depending on you exact stab size and aoa, but to give an idea. Meaning you have to move the strut 10 cm further forward on the board, when stabless, for same trim. 8) Peter Noted, THX! :thumb: Logic as stab pushing down a littl...

Re: Monofoil or "riding stabless", setup and riding

Any one mono with S S space skate?
Worth a try or no?
Merci!
If yes approximately where is stance to be centered over lift point please.
Or, if not specific to this exact wing and estimate considering other similar wings?

Did this conversation take a left somewhere? Just their kites and bars will be discontinued. You guys know they're still selling boards, including hydrofoils.
Sounds correct.
"foils for all water sports"
And just bought a foil company so looks like they are in it!

Re: Cabrinha Foil Problem

Clean threaded hole perfect with alcohol pure, acetone something to get threads super clean, ear cotton swap, tooth brush. Using new screw, bolt with a touch of lube, count how many turns it will go in, do not force when going gets harder. If you have at least 2x dia then should be good to go, but t...

Re: Liquid force kiteboarding stops business

but these total tanks of boards that were not too fun to ride. :thumb: I wonder how many guys bought cheap Funny foil and quit because of lack of performance and weight. Or on the other hand bought one to test the sport and oh so quickly out grew it and found it hard to resell because word got out....

eXtruded poly core tips Place in direct sun to out gas. Cut planform, shape rails. I use rough wood file to leave very textured surface everywhere, rougher than any sand paper, for depth. Mastic, epoxy on the thinner viscosity microballon to aide sheer strength, again everywhere, spatula applied app...

Re: Pocket board building

Why anyone would choose Xps as core vs Eps is not understood. XPS is Waterproof vs EPS Not so much, Pink Ridged verses White crumbly. Both are cheap, both can be sanded down and shaped fast. Interesting we, I are maybe lost in translation. My understanding was X meaning Expanded and E meanin...

Re: Review: Liquid Force Orb (foilboard)

All boards are fibreglass boards. I think you mean "production" and even still "most" might have been more accurate. I have 4 boards, have had many more, not a single strand of F glass in any of them. 100 % carbon and epoxy, all D I Y. Respectfully just saying to clarify, NOT all boards are fibregl...

Re: Pocket board building

Why anyone would choose Xps as core vs Eps is not understood. Any breach of water proofing, even tiny dings, and open cell will drink like its 1999! Closed cell extruded can be bought for next to nothing, or if stronger core is wanted airex, or other can be used. And rails? I, we have built 7...
