Re: Help a winger improve knee starts in rough

I also find it a challenge geting up on a small WingFoil board (Kg = L) I found these exercises helpful Once I have got on my knees I try and point the board downwind so I am only dealing with 'pitch' to balance. Once I have two handles of the Wing ...

Re: Triton T1- Riding A Monofoil (1st Session)

I had my first 2 hour Session on the Triton V1. Wind was approximately 20 kts, .5 m waves. I have watched all the videos on how to ride the TV1 which helped to prepare me. I got up immediately on Foil and didn't fall for the first 30 minutes. I found it 'easy' to ride. To me it felt like having a la...

Re: Okay, 10-15knot winging is actually fun!

Agree, the larger volume board is still useful when Winging. I have a Wing Buddie who went to a much smaller volume board and now all he does is "bitch" about what a terrible seesion he had. Mean while I take a big volume board out on light wind days or when I am practising new moves and have a fun ...

Re: Teaching Your Kids To Kiteboard: 9 Considerations

I find KiteSkiing is the best way to teach kids if it's available in your area.

After Dryland training in the Park my 2 year old Grand Daughter did her first Downwinder.

Re: Windows - Cold Temps

"don't use the windows so I wonder about ripping them out and replacing with canopy material in a year or two when they are destroyed?| I asked one of my Local Kite/Wing Repair guys about replacing the cracked Windows with 3x RipStop. The estimate was about $100.00 CDN per Window so I will stay with...

Re: Foil suggestions for 60kg woman

My 2 cents.

4.5 Wing
1800 cm Beginner Wing (not High Aspect) 60 - 75 cm Mast Mid length Fuse
Board Volume 120 - 140 L (with box track) handle grip on bottom

You want the experience to be fun and 'easy'.
