Re: 633 vs. 683 what I found

Re: Ozone Alpha V1 - First Session

I had a quick fly of the Alpha. It seemed to be a heavier build than the Ultra, so I guess it rather depends what you want it for
On Airush website Ultra 12 is 2.8kg , did put my Alpha 12 on a scale and it's 2.55kg.

Re: Phan Rang - Vietnam

about 15km south is a great wave spot, but when we have been there 10 years ago it was military area

Re: How can I repair a waveboard that was run-over by a car?

for repairs or topcoats etc I use an epoxy resin with 10min pot time , sandable after 5 hrs.
Yur board will look better than new once it's finished.

fill the leash plug with wax. Do that before you sand down the board to make sure the is ZERO wax where you carbon should stick.
When everything is finished take a hole saw and open the plug, sand the edges slightly and you are done.

Re: How can I repair a waveboard that was run-over by a car?

perfekt plan, just tape first the area you don't want to touch. then sand down the area you want to put the carbon, just slightly deeper than the rest. Tape off the bottom, put your carbon on cut it a little bit when you have wet it out (NOT BEFORE), put some peel ply on top. Let it cure, put anothe...

Re: How can I repair a waveboard that was run-over by a car?

looks good ! But you shoul put some glas on the top and for sure on the tail rail.
If you want to have a great looking board again, take a 165g carbon and but only that over the tail, this will be strong enough add maybe 50 grms
and will look great. Bottom just put a gloss coat and you will be fine.

Re: How can I repair a waveboard that was run-over by a car?

as you said, without a power sander, it will take you ages. After glassing the tail you need to apply a filler coat that should fill up your dents, sand again and spray paint it.
