Re: Looking for a true resistant directional board for strapped jumping

I would say any of the Reedin surfboards.
The design is focused on durable construction, and they are made in Europe!
They are not cheap though.

Re: Airush 20-21 Collection

Session is good for hooked freestyle and soft kite loops. Put the fixed bridle on and it’s solid for unhooked. Would you say the new Session is closer to the former Wave or the former Diamond? I thought the Diamond was pretty good for unhooked freestyle, with decent boosting, light bar pressure, go...

Re: Airush 20-21 Collection

No more Diamond in 2021?
And the Union has become their KOTA kite.

How about a kite for hooked and unhooked freestyle and "soft" kiteloops?

Re: Who makes the best Wing Thing

There was a review of few wings on the market in the French magazine Wind Mag in July 2020. There were 10 wings tested, including F-One, Duotone, Ozone, Takoon, Cabrinha, Naish, Zeeko. The wing finishing first in this review is the wing from Takoon . Second was F-one and Ozone in tie position, which...

Re: Just not getting it

Perhaps you should try behind a boat or a jetski. This way, you can concentrate entirely on the waterstart, over and over again, and forget about the handling of the kite. You can do it on very calm water. It is also less tiring. You don't have to worry about drifting downwind. You can take a break ...

Re: Gong Veloce impressions

Hej Lopi, 30 km session today 10-12 knots. 9m Hyperlink on 20m lines. 30 - 50 cm wind chop. After sanding it's totally silent. Maybe you can get someone you trust locally to do it. The build quality seems better than Moses. More solid laminat. Surface finish is top notch. Caveat: silk screened big ...

Re: Foil for beginning and carving

Thanks all for your comments on 70cm carbon mast vs. 65cm alu mast. Something I forgot to mention is that I am looking for a setup as light as possible because I have to carry all my equipment from my apartment to the spot back and forth all the time. I cannot leave anything in my car in the city I ...

Foil board for beginning and compatible carving

I am looking for a foil board to begin with kite foiling, but that could also be used for carving as progressing. I understand that this 2 programs might not be entirely compatible. Please let me know what you think. I am <75 kg/165lbs. I am a beginner to foiling, but have been kiting for +12 years....

Re: Foil for beginning and carving

Could you please explain why getting the 70cm carbon mast would be a bad idea, whereas getting the 65cm alu mast would be a good learning step? My guess is that with a 65cm alu setup you can easily and cheaply add the 90cm alu mast to the same setup. Whereas with the 70cm carbon setup, upgrade to a ...

Re: Foil for beginning and carving

I checked the price of the package Gong Allvator Surf Pro M + Surf Stab 40cm + Carbon Surf Pro Mast & Fuselage monobloc 70cm.
At 949 euros ($1072 USD), it's hard to beat for a full carbon setup!!
