Re: Kite Village hamata

According to someone living in Sharm, yesterday the first airplane full of tourists from Switzerland landed there. So it sounds like they are starting tourism again in Egypt. But I assume there must be countless rules about which nationalities can fly in.

Re: BBTalkin headset issues

Did anyone try one of the IPX7 (waterproof) Motorbike Bluetooth Intercoms? They are much lower in price but I am not sure if mic and headphones are also waterproof. Can anyone share experiences?

Re: Where Should I Move To Retire & Kite?

Thanks in advance for any advice. I know there have been a few posts like this before. But, I am wondering where in the world I should move to retire & kite???? A few parameters below: I am an American, U.S., so I guess this means I'm limited to 3 months in some countries? Even if I buy property? I...

Hi Lafigreg,
many thanks for your great work!
I love your homepage and app.
They are extremely convenient and will replace all other forecast apps for me.
Cheers

Re: What's the thing with Duotone?

After owning Core and Naish, I flew Ozone Catalyst and Zephir initially and then Edge and Enduro for the last 10 years. During these 10 years I tested F-One Bandit, Slingshot RPM, Slingshot Rally and North Evo. Last year a friend at the beach offered me to try his North Dice. I was very positively i...

Re: Ozone Strut Valves breaking after 1 year in tropical climate

I had the same problem with two of my edges. I contacted Ozone and they reacted very generously. They replaced the broken valves free of cost even if the kites were older than one year. I received very good service from Ozone for this valve issue.

Re: Driving at night in Brazil

In reaction to the experiences shared above I now start the trip in Cumbuco. I still arrive at night, but the guesthouse sends a shuttle to the airport
and I will rent the car either in Cumbuco or I will go back to town during the day.
Many thanks for your contributions to making my trip safer.

Re: Driving at night in Brazil

Many thanks for your input! Regarding rental cars, I usually in other countries use rentalcars.com on which for Fortaleza many cars from the local agent Foco appear (medium car, full to full, unlimited km, not fully insured about 20 USD per day). Whats a reliable and affordable local agency with pic...

Driving at night in Brazil

I will fly to Brazil in 2 weeks and I will potentially land in Fortaleza at 8.30pm. Is it safe to drive with a rental car to e.g. Cumbuco or Parajuru at this time of the day or do I need to book a flight which arrives during the day or maybe stay at an airport hotel for the first night? Many thanks ...
