Re: Airush Vantage - small kites in gusty winds

They are good boosting kites, but they will buckle if loaded by a heavy rider.

Re: Ultra/boxer with high split lines

Airush Ultra?
I wouldn't use a high Y on it. The Airush bars are low Y. Helps keep the canopy open, lets the kite breathe. A high Y will choke it and you won't like the way it flies

Little tip.....I always take my knifes out of the holster after a sesh and velcro them to the outside so they air dry....if you leave them in the wet holster the blades rust much sooner..
Or melt some wax onto the blade

Sonnyrider,

Mike
Today I was 15st 5lbs
5'3"
It's a great board for our english mush and wind driven waves. Purchased for medium winds, I have an old Converse for strong winds, big waves

Re: Insurance question for the UK community

I use Legal & General, kit is covered under 'away from home' as well, this includes holidays. I had a TT board stolen from my local beach a few years back and they paid out. But, normally it needs to be inside the vehicle out of sight. I know Hiscox cover kite kit, but they are not cheap. I don't kn...

Re: Mauritius August _Belle Mare

I've been to Belle Mare area twice, a few years ago, both times in September. I kited mostly in the lagoon in front of the hotel "La palmeraie Boutique", there is a sandy area to the south of that hotel. I see on google maps theres a little shack selling fruit. So I suspect it's busy with tourists t...
