Re: Pain at the Elbow - Kiter's Elbow: Treatment & Prevention

I’ve had this on and off for past 8 years or so. Worst thing for mine is stand up paddling and chainsawing. But it flares up with kite sessions where there’s excessive working the kite – such as high winds, small kite, riding toeside (surfboard or foil), where the kite is blasting against one arm. ...

but if its just a smaller safety leash you want you can easily make one better than that from the standard long one.
all you need is a Stanley knife.

Re: Extreme Kitesurf Accidents

That's surprising. I would have thought he'd be missing some teeth at minimum. Looked like he ate a few boulders.

What's the deal with the guy who punched out at the edge of the water and got dragged up beach, over rocks, on top of concrete seawall? That was one pissed off kite!

Re: What’s the best board you have ever tried?

I was a Monk guy all the way (owned 5 of them over the years,) but honestly, the Bronq CRB4 is better in every way. It's like a Monk on speed. Every bit as compliant and easy on the knees, but sharper, more precise, faster acceleration and better pop. I know, that sounds like conflicting attributes,...

Re: PSA: CHECK YOUR HARNESS - Friend of mine got luck, really lucky

Dual compression straps are the best in my opinion. Spread load over 4 straps on one side instead of two, and if one webbing breaks you still have another webbing holding in place. The old Ride Engine webbing designs were flawed with that one thin webbing to hold down the spreader bar. All the weig...

Re: 2019 Duotone Click Bar

I guess I'm out of the loop - this is the first I've heard of the crap lines on the Click Bar (only demo'd for one session.) Are they not the same lines on the Trust bars? I've been using Trust bars for many years and have absolutely no problem with those lines.

Re: selfish short term kite industry

At our local beach there are 20 or so core kiters. all 50 plus years old. There are probably 100 more casual summer kiters. One teenager a couple of 40 plus year old women and pretty much everyone else in the casual group are 40 plus. You can buy old kites from our group of core kiters in great con...

Re: Beginner kite- Core XR5 or Naish Pivot

Real have been pushing Core kites hard lately, probably because they cost more. Find a well taken care of 2 year old kite for 60-65% off list and beat the hell out of it. Pivots are fine.

Re: Got lofted once

Meh, that happened to virtually everyone back in the day. Getting worked over when learning is part of the game and keeps the Larrys on the beach playing cornhole. You'll learn quickly not to do that again when you take those kinds of beatings.
