Re: Duotone Spirit Foil Range 2019

Hi Dan, Thanks a lot for your honest reply. I indeed hoped for some backwards compatibility to be able to “save” some of the parts and use them in future set ups. I’ll be looking into reinforcing my current fuselage with some carbon to get as much life out of it as possible then. Or will there be a ...

Re: Duotone Spirit Foil Range 2019

Nice looking new range of foils !! But I also see that the speedster range completely disappeared from the website. And that’s a bit concerning to me. They hyped their speedster massively with the carbon injection tech. Brand it unbreakable and superior etc... While the wings stand up to the use of ...

Re: Gin Marabou Water Relaunchable Single Skin

Finally ! Was about time that somebody made this into a full production model. The Monjet Ninox looks promising 2 years ago but that project went dead silent. I haven’t felt like any kite could be a massive game changer recently, but I have a strong feeling this one might be ! It would massively inc...

Re: Best pumping foil?

Signature albatross 210 is what i’d say is what seems to be the benchmark that many foil brands are duplicating now. Check out this pumping video :

Re: Airush Ultra: one strut kite that meets expectations of a ram air lover

yes i got good experience on both V1 and V2. We teach on them in the school since we have mostly light wind, last year we had 7-15m , this year 7-17m. For me the main difference is how much better the V2 handles stronger wind in its high end. the low end is nearly the same. The V1 suffered from the ...

jumping on North/Duotone Speedster.

Hi Everyone, Looking for riders that have experience jumping the North/Duotone speedster. I bought one when they first came out, love to ride it, but broke the first fuselage on session 3.... Got it replaced under warranty and they did a great job, but getting it to PH took me a while. Since then i ...

Re: Odo Kiteboarding Kites

Even though I haven’t seen them it looks very.... “boards and more- ish” The panel layout reminded me immediately to the old North, and now Duotone kites. Even all the rendered images look similar with position of LE segments etc. Add to that that one model looks like a Dice and another like a EVO. ...

Re: Maybe I'll get to keep my name after all..

Things just got interesting ... saw this on my FB feed. Cabrinha/Neil pride team indeed seems to be hired on the North revamp. Klaus did a great Job managing Cabrinha and had a good feel for the industry and people. Curious to see what the future will bring ! Customer confusion guaranteed for sure, ...

Re: Surf Foils for Kiteboarding?

@ kamikuza and Gunnar, Could the 2 of you share your experiences with the axis SUP/Surf range ? Some Info on the 820 and 920 online , but nothing on the 720 anymore and the website also is not updated yet. Looking for prone foil and wave-kitefoil wing to do both @ 80kg and the axis setup looks top n...
