Re: 2 lines 2.5m stunt foil kite adaptation to 4 lines bar

They can't be "too" long if the trim is "right". I am guessing you are saying they are too long because you then can't sheet in enough to turn the kite, which indicates that C and Z are too long or alternately maybe B is too short. Yes, I meant too long as I can't sheet in enough to turn the kite. ...

Re: 2 lines 2.5m stunt foil kite adaptation to 4 lines bar

Lines being even or uneven is irrelevant. If you have hit the end of your trim range on the bar then you need to adjust things further with the lines. You need to shorten the fronts or lengthen the rears. It does sound like there is something wrong with the kite though. The fact it is stalling and ...

Re: 2 lines 2.5m stunt foil kite adaptation to 4 lines bar

Sounds like you have the trim wrong? All other reports of the 2019 is it flys great, even the pre 2019 flew out of the bag. My bar is tuned. I have other foil kites. This kite does not fly properly. The ONLY way to make it get to zenith is to trim the bar ALL THE WAY IN. Sure it flies then but with...

Why not just get a 3m Pansh Genesis for $89?
DO NOT DO THIS! I just picked the 2019 3m for my girlfriend to teach her and the kite does not fly out of the bag. It barely flies with the depower all the way in. BARELY FLIES. It’s junk. But it was cheap.

JUNK!!!

Re: Pansh - what to check on arrival?

Finally decided to try a Pansh. Picked up the "new" Genesis 2019 3m to try as a training kite for my girlfriend. Looked great out of the bag! Bridal lines didn't feel Ozone/Flysurfer quality but the kite looked well built and overall I was impressed. Then I took it for a test flight in 15-20mph wind...

Re: 2019 Watches

Been using the Apple Watch 4 for a few months now. My personal feeling is it's the best of all the watches I tried through the years (most Suunto's (Ambit Peak3 last), Garmin Feminx 5x, Samsung Galaxy). The Suuntos and Garmin still had the best battery life and were more of a watch. This is like a l...

Re: Kite Turn Accelerator by Bruno Legaignoux

Interesting! Would love to make my Peak3 12m faster but the bar looks quite complicated. What happened to the pulley only version? Seems easier to make than the latest dual bar contraption. Not as good I'm assuming? EDIT: Never mind, guess I should have read past the pictures: :D "This one doesn't a...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Another good Peak4 11 session today. I was out on my Chrono 13 race wing and 30 m lines. Very flat water on the bay with only a rare whitecap. The wind was slowly dropping of and it was getting to the point I was worried about having to swim in with the Chrono. Coming into the beach required only a...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Anyone compare the Peak3 12m to the Peak4 11m yet? Wondering if I should upgrade for those 6mph-10mph days I use the 12m on.

Re: Neil Pryde Glide Reports/Reviews?

Had another session on the Glide L wing yesterday in 9-10 knots. This time I paired it with a Flysurfer Peak4 5m. I didn't think it would have the juice but it worked out. The downwind drift on the Peak4 is something special in light winds. I tried putting the washer under the back bolt of the stab...
